On a Saône dock adjoining Vieux Lyon, gourmet people will be surprised by the shop of David Roche, pastry chef, chocolate maker and ice-cream maker for our great pleasure. In this spring, the small terrace has first winked at us to invite us to enjoy the nice weather and, above all, a homemade ice-cream with extraordinary "magnum" with strong flavours. And then, we had to come back to taste the homemade eclairs, delicious and truly gourmet, the seasonal fruit cakes and all kinds of creations as beautiful (the cakes' design is a wonder of its kind) as tasty (top quality). All this, before considering testing the chocolates, they are also good to eat and beautiful to look at. Special mention for the Easter matters with true colourfed sculptures. Also a cook -this man has all the talents-, David Roche makes brunches on weekends to attract all gourmet people with a sweet-savoury formula below €20. David. R, another way to treat yourself on this dock of Vieux Lyon.
