Antiquaille to discover the history of Christianity in Lyon, using all the latest techniques.
A unique place of memory and history for a visit that will interest not only Christians, but all visitors curious about the history of Lyon, France and Europe. On the magnificently restored site of the Antiquaille, in the heart of the Unesco World Heritage area, discover Lyon in the time of the first Christians. This is where an unconfirmed tradition locates the "dungeon of Saint Pothin", the first bishop of Lyon in the 2nd century, martyred by the Romans. In the mosaic room, you'll see the procession of the first 48 Christians in Gaul. All in all, there are 15 lively rooms to help you better understand our culture and civilization.
