Allied to the 14 Février Michelin-starred restaurant, La Sommelière is Shoko Hasegawa's workshop. In a discreet street in Vieux Lyon, on the Saint-Georges side, here's the association between two talented and star-studded Japanese chefs, Japanese chef Takafumi Kikuchi and the famous Sommelière Shoko. In a tiny but oh-so-cute restaurant, plates in perfect control, with seasonal produce. The food and wine pairing is a natural fit. Two gourmet talents to follow with passion in this exceptional establishment.

C'était excellent, l'ambiance, le repas, mais malheureusement, il n'y avait que 4 tables. Il faut faire la réservation trois mois à l'avance.

C'est un restaurant une étoile mais j'en rajoute 4 car le cadre, le service et la technicité du chef en font un endroit à côté duquel il ne faut pas passer.

Good experience although it lacked the wow factor for me which makes it 4 stars. I was perhaps expecting a little more from one of the few Michelin restaurants in the area. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and able to secure a reservation.

Expérience magnifique et sans faute dans ce restaurant petit et à l’ambiance intime. Des produits de qualité magnifiés par le talent du chef (mention spéciale au sens du dressage, une série d’œuvres d’art!) et des accords mets-vins audacieux mais très efficaces proposés par la sommelière. Déjà envie d’y retourner!
