Master weavers of gold, silver and silk threads, the Canuts' ingenuity and hard work shaped part of Lyon's history and the history of France, and led to the first workers' revolts in the early 19th century. Three exhibition rooms explain everything about the Canuts and the Fabrique, the name of Lyon's silk industry. Guided tours include a weaving demonstration.
