A space to discover the great adventure of five centuries of Lyonnais silk and Jacquard's invention.

Master weavers of gold, silver and silk threads, the Canuts' ingenuity and hard work shaped part of Lyon's history and the history of France, and led to the first workers' revolts in the early 19th century. Three exhibition rooms explain everything about the Canuts and the Fabrique, the name of Lyon's silk industry. Guided tours include a weaving demonstration. A skill you can take home with you with Philéone fashion accessories, a brand of the Maison des Canuts.

Ok, interesting facts. The issue was that everything is in French and they hand you some pages in English with the descriptions, which, in my opinion, is not great.

Love! Small museum but really well put together. Great window into Lyon’s industrial history.
