The largest food market in Lyon, along the banks of the Saône, where it is a pleasure to come on Sunday morning. The clientele is happily mixed, from all social classes. It must be said that the setting lends itself to it and that you can find everything with about fifty traders on weekdays and 121 traders on weekends: vegetables, fish, artisanal fruit juices, butchers, delicatessens (especially from the Ardèche), cheeses, flowers... Good idea: plan to withdraw cash the day before or in another place, because the district's distributors are overrun!

It is still very friendly going to the market and chat with the shops. This market is full since you will find the usual fruiterers and vegetables, but if you grows a little farther, you fall into the world of books and on the other bank, catapulted in the kingdom of arts. What to a pleasant exit to some purchases!
