LE CINTRA
There are names that are part of the history of Lyon, but especially part of the lives of Lyon's residents who have built reputations around a name, from generation to generation. The reputation of Le Cintra has been excellent since 1921, the creation date of this exceptional bar-restaurant, whose name comes from a region of Portugal, where a wonderful sweet wine formerly enjoyed when exiting from the nearby stock exchange is produced. Moreover, the dining room has remained "in its original condition" and you can still admire the barrels in front of the wonderful bar. In a cosy setting, a true cinema decor at Coppola, enhanced by coloured lights, or on the wonderful terrace opening onto Place de la Bourse, an authentic small paradise in the heart of the city, you can come to savour excellent cuisine, but also jazz notes at the piano bar, beating heart of Le Cintra.
