A hotel with a hushed atmosphere, natural elegance, a warm welcome and outstanding services.

In the heart of the Presqu'île, a 19th-century palace of majestic architecture has undergone a masterful renovation to offer top-of-the-range services and a unique experience. Italian refinement and design, precious materials in a luxurious setting. Incredible glass-roofed lounge, stone walls from the Roman baths that house the spa with swimming pool, spacious rooms and suites, not forgetting the gourmet Italian cuisine restaurant Angelo, all-you-can-eat brunch, cocktail bar, events with concerts... Infinite bliss at the Boscolo.

Amazing time at the hotel we were there for 2D3N and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. For starters the service was amazing only downside being they were out of toast after we ordered but they apologized for it. After check in they took our bags to our rooms which the design was great having showers but no bathtub. For the room a downside was the bathroom didn’t lock. For entertainment the had cable tv and a iPad which we could order service and search the web. The downside being expensive. Since it was our anniversary they gave us complimentary champagne and macarons. Other things that were complimentary were soda water, water, and chocolate. Beds were comfy and high quality. Next was the breakfast. Breakfast was free being a mix of a buffet and a restaurant not much to say about the restaurant otherwise. The location is amazing right next to a river and the train station with many restaurants behind being a 7 minute walk. There were also many murals only a half an hour walk. Next is the spa the hotel has is NOT complimentary but the spa itself was amazing as well as there being a pool to relax in which you didn’t have to pay for. Overall great with the only downside being pricy.

Also wer Urlaub machen und sich erholen will, besser was anderes suchen.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lyon. From check-in to check-out almost everything was perfect. The only three things I would improve are:1) the hotel bar didn't have stools2) the Nespresso Machines didn't have single serve coffee-mate creamers or at least powder so you had to call down for cold milk for 5€.3) like many hotels in Europe they didn't have wash cloths in the room (face cloths or serviettes carrés as they call them). What do Europeans wash with? The lobby was elegant and inviting. The Grand Salon was cinematic. The rooms albeit a little small were well designed, comfortable and had great AC and rain showers. The pool, sauna, steam room, tea and relaxation room in the basement were perfect after a hot day touring Lyon. The cocktails were prepared with love and attention and served in vintage glassware. However martinis and old fashioned's should have more than loz of alcohol. The breakfast buffet was complete and delicious and you could even order an avo toast, truffled omelette or œufs a plat a la carte. I highly suggest you book the bed and breakfast rate to not be shocked by the 39€pp charge if you didn’t. Their Italian restaurant, Angelo's, looked delicious, but was a little pricey so we ate out all three nights in the Capitale Gastronomique de la France. The staff were warm and accommodating and it's in my top 3 reasonably priced boutique hotels in Europe.
