Charles Menetrier, who took over this veritable neighborhood institution, and Rolande do their job with rigor and passion. Their wholehearted character is reflected in the quality of the breads offered in this bakery, which has retained its old-world charm (watch your step on the way in...), with cement tiles on the floor, stained glass windows and old stonework. Breads made with organic flours, traditional breads and corn bread specialties. Pastries and viennoiseries of the same quality, for a treat from breakfast to afternoon tea, with homemade bugnes for example.

Franchement, j'avais passé une bonne matinée jusqu'à ce que je me retrouve face à une veille vendeuse aussi sympathique que des chasseurs qui boivent de la Volvic... Vous aurez bien compris, zéro aimabilité, respect du client, et niveler par des produits de qualité moyenne... If you are foreign tourists in France, just avoid this place and cross the bridge...

Boulangère antipathique je confirme
Je fréquente occasionnellement cette boulangerie. Il y a eu un changement de propriétaire en 2020. Avant l'équipe était au top. Maintenant fini les desserts sans gluten. Et en effet la nouvelle boulangère est antipathique et engueule son personnel devant tout le monde. Les pauvres Loulous je compatis avec vous.
