Charles Menetrier, who took over this veritable neighborhood institution, and Rolande do their job with rigor and passion. Their wholehearted character is reflected in the quality of the breads offered in this bakery, which has retained its old-world charm (watch your step on the way in...), with cement tiles on the floor, stained glass windows and old stonework. Breads made with organic flours, traditional breads and corn bread specialties. Pastries and viennoiseries of the same quality, for a treat from breakfast to afternoon tea, with homemade bugnes for example.
