From the rue d'Algérie, you go to a Moroccan medina for a total change of scenery. Once the wooden door has been crossed, Lyon seems to us far away. A vaulted cellar with exposed, oriental stones, tadelakt walls, exhilarating lights for intimate tables, silky cushions and colourful dishes, nothing missing from the eyes of the eyes, nor the delight of the taste buds with the best dishes of Moroccan bourgeois cuisine. After discovering all the details of this splendid "tribal" decoration, we wonder about the map showing shades and couscous, with a Royal at 26 €. Smiling service, presentation in a beautiful crockery and it is appreciated that chickpeas, grapes, onions or sauces are separate from special ramekins. Scented dishes, such as these well-successful keftas, and served generously in the best pieces with halal meat. A dépaysante address in the heart of Lyon.

Concernant les plats, c'était plutôt bon ; le couscous Merguez est copieux (presque trop), le tajine beaucoup moins.
En revanche, l'indigestion (l'intoxication?!) n'était pas prévue au programme !! Pour mon conjoint, douleurs régulières l’empêchant de dormir et mal-être tout le lendemain. Pour ma part, douleurs insoutenables, fièvre, nausées et la courante en prime, m’empêchant de travailler !!
Niveau service... ça dépend :D 2 des serveurs étaient bien habillés, aimables, et plutôt professionnels. Le 3ème... on aurait dit qu'il était là pour mettre le bazar '-_- : en tenue jogging, il mets les tableaux de travers, nettoie la table voisine en projetant le pschitt-pschitt bien toxique en direction de nos assiettes pendant qu'on mange (miam) et nous mets les fesses dans le nez pendant qu'il remet la table, et se prend le bec avec la cuisinière en cuisine...
Ah oui et aucun respect des gestes covid (pas de demandes de pass, pas de masques, aucune distanciation des tables), comme quoi l'hygiène.. osef non ?
Nous avions mangé ici il y a bien longtemps et étions revenu "en pélerinage"... Nous réitererons pas ; dommage :'(
