In Grenoble, when you think cheese, you think Alpages! A gourmet path to rue de Strasbourg traced since 1978 by the excellent Bernard Mure-Ravaud, World Champion Cheesemaker in 2007 and one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. An enthusiast, assisted by his son Renaud Mure-Ravaud, he offers an exceptional selection of around 150 cheeses, including some nuggets discovered by this "cheese spotter". In season, the unmissable raclette and fondue des Alpages, and all year round, platters to suit all tastes.

This cheese shop is a true delight! Their outstanding selection of cheeses is impressive, but what really shined was the exceptional kindness of the employees. They greeted us with such warmth and were incredibly helpful in guiding us through their vast assortment, crafting a perfectly tailored selection of samples for us. A definite must-visit in Grenoble—highly recommended!

Mon lieu préféré sur Grenoble. Les fromages sont vraiment excellents et il y a une variété régionale et nationale de dingue. J’y ai laissé des 100aines d’€.

Sempre compro queijos quando estou em Grenoble mas dessa vez a experiencia nao foi boa. O atendimento foi feito sem atençao apesar de a loja estar vazia. Pedi embalagem a vacuo vomo de costume pois trago os queijos para o Brasil. Embalagem mal feita os queijos derreteram e vazaram dentro da mala. Muito aborrecida pois alem da sujeira ainda perdi queijo. Na loja nao houve nem uma sugestao para degustaçao, como usualmente é feito pelo proprietario.
