The red gold or Espelette chili pepper is available here in classic recipes, as well as surprising and tasty creations such as Espelette chili jelly, Basque chutneys and a whole range of organic products. All made without colorants or preservatives. And each new recipe has its own specifications. Try our Gorritu cocktail sauce, olive oil with chilli, piperade, gazpacho and spreads. The Bipia canning factory has been a benchmark since 1997.

Opening time and information on BIPIA CONSERVERIE ARTISANALE
Open year-round, Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm and 2pm-6pm; in summer, Monday to Saturday, 9am-6.30pm. In summer, free guided tours of the workshops without reservation: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am, Fridays at 4:30 pm. Free films, exhibitions and tastings all year round. Groups welcome on reservation (70 people maximum). Online sales at www.bipia.com.
Owner's Message
Born on 3 September 1997, BiPiA, a traditional canning company based in Larressore, in the Basque Country, produces Espelette chilli pepper sauces and condiments.
BiPiA, specialist of Espelette chilli pepper, produces its products in a traditional way. During visits to the canning factory you can discover the work of the Benedictines: sorting the chilli pepper, removing the stems, ... all by hand, one by one, in order to keep the to preserve the quality of the products.
Artisanal production because it is manual, BiPiA privileges the know-how, a know-how recognized by a Master Craftsman diploma
The cannery is open all year round from Monday to Friday and welcomes you from 9 am to 6 pm, in summer we are open on Saturdays.
