France's leading franchised network of local wine shops, with over 150 franchisees, Cavavin was founded in 1985 by Michel Bourel in La Baule, France, with the opening of a first wine cellar and the creation of a partnership with other wine shops, before becoming a franchisee in 1996. There are now two of the group's wine shops in the greater Paris area, one in Le Mans and another in Arnage.
