Villevêque holds an important place in the agricultural tradition of the region. Every year the agricultural show takes place there, a great festival which allows the discovery of local productions, equipment and know-how of yesteryear, and where the generations (young people and those called "the chosen ones") confront each other in competitions, among others, of ploughing. However, art is not left out, as the town makes a point of giving access to the impressive collection bequeathed to it by Daniel Duclaux's wife in 2002, and its remarkable church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul dating from the 11th century is listed as a historical monument.
