The specialities of the Basque Country are not just Basque cake, chilli, chocolate and ham; they also include sangria, which is produced and enjoyed on both sides of the border. Mainly in Ayherre in the Basque Country, a sparkling sangria called Loreak "the flowers" (in Basque) is produced by hand from natural wines, juices and flavors, in three flavors with a maximum alcohol content of 8% by volume. Available in white, pink and red, they are the perfect accompaniment to summer aperitifs and evening parties.
