A gourmet institution created in 1890, this cosy store with old-fashioned displays, gleaming brass and crystal chandeliers is an invitation to discover a wide choice of specialities: gourmet bar, chocolate candy, turrón and Bayonne macaroon! Here, we love the great vintages with always the same chocolate signature: power, length in the mouth, delicacy of aromatic combinations. The almond pastes are "fresh", a rarity. In the same spirit, macaroons with little sugar have a remarkable almond flavour. Also present in Biarritz since 1930.

Introduced by the Portuguese Jews, it appears in the archives of Bayonne, as early as 1670.
The house founded by the Daranatz brothers in 1890 is an integral part of this heritage and continues to delight generations of Basques.
It is one of the pillars of the Bayonne chocolate industry.
Whether in our Bayonne store or in the one in Biarritz, opened in 1930, time goes by without disturbing anything.
Generations have come and gone, coming to our stores to find a unique know-how.
