Situated on the right bank of the Saulx, this beautiful village is planted with several castles and with a small heritage, in the image of the wash and bridge, the most important of the Valley of Saulx with its twelve arches. The oldest castle, the Varenne castle, was built in 1506 by the prévôt of the Baronnie of Ancerville. The castle of the Tower when resting quietly on a small island, between two arms of the Saulx situated at the entrance of the village served a strong house in 1500 and from the street, you can also discover the façade of the castle of La Forge, built in 1735 of Louis XV style.
