Full of know-how, he has made a name for himself with his restaurant, while the butcher's shop has earned a reputation in Nancy as the HQ for meat lovers. This top-quality breeder-butcher takes great care in the nobility of the products he offers, in his quest for the "ultimate meat". His challenge? To elevate butchery to the level of gastronomy, for our greatest pleasure!

L'Épicerie du goût is a real gustatory and historical tour of Lorraine proposed by Marie De Metz-Noblat and her niece Bénédicte. Here, more than 1,500 products and 300 carefully selected producers from Lorraine are presented. There is everything for the sweet tooth, such as macaroons, madeleines, brimbelles and of course mirabelles, but also savory products: spices, terrines, Lorraine cheeses or smoked meats. Marie, president of the Club des Buveuses de bière à talons aiguilles de Lorraine, works with small producers and selects the best nectars.

For eleven years, Léon has been able to make a name for itself among the independent wine merchants of Nancy. The reason? A warm welcome, sound advice from the sommelier and a large selection of available references (nearly 600!). Wine, of course, for all budgets and tastes, but also champagne and spirits... La Cave de Léon also organizes afterwork sessions with winegrowers who come from all over France to help you discover their products in a good mood. Léon also comes to your events and privatizes the cellar.

In Nancy, the specialist of arranged rum is Kévin Juliac, who created his store a few years ago. His bottles are sold in local wine shops, but also in breweries throughout France, and of course, on his website. Deeply ecological, Kevin Juliac always favors short circuits and local products, such as the honey from Lorraine that we find in the surprising and delicious honey-cinnamon or ginger associations. Recouvreur has everything to make you fall in love! It has to be said that Recouvreur is a Nancy institution. Frédérique and Christian Bédard delight our taste buds with a revisited baba au rhum, as well as delicious pastries and macaroons that are sure to please. And what about the famous pâté lorrain, whose recipe has been handed down from generation to generation. Nevertheless, the company is keeping up with the times, as evidenced by the online boutique with home delivery service on request. It's all good!

A neighborhood bakery where everything is homemade and prepared on site. Traditional bakery, but above all original specialties, and that's what we like. As well as the chocolate banana ficelle, you'll love the pumpkin-kiri ficelle, unless you prefer the candied fruit panettone or the 12 different flavored éclairs. There's something for every taste, with limited editions to suit every taste and calendar! Enough to delight gourmets and add an original touch to your meals all year round.

Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside: the Macaron de Nancy has made the reputation of the Maison des Soeurs Macarons for over 250 years, and today it's the only company to hold the original recipe. Nicolas Génot makes 200 to 250 dozen a day! Bergamotes de Nancy, pâtes de Fruits, Florentine des Soeurs, Baba du Roi... are also among the delicacies prized the world over. It's impossible to resist these sweets, the fruit of ancestral know-how!

Four wine enthusiasts will introduce you to their exceptional cellar: Aurore Clos, a regular sommelier in Nancy; Romuald Moriau, a finalist in the 1998 Best Young Sommelier of France competition; and two equally indispensable young sommeliers. This team can advise you on how to take top-quality wines home with you, or enjoy them on site, at parties or events. It's a very friendly store, with affordable prices.

With moderation, it is not forbidden to taste the drinks of the IPN. Located in the center of Nancy, this wine bar comes alive at aperitif time, then in the evening, until late at night. Wooden tables and wine barrels invite you to drink a glass of wine, from here or elsewhere, in a good-natured atmosphere (remember to raise your head for the balloons). Nicolas, Anaïs and their team are busy delighting you with homemade products and the use of high quality ingredients, such as the twice awarded almond cream galette des rois. Fine pastries, sweets, homemade chocolate candies, sandwiches, seasonal dishes of the day, petit fours... everything is there for a small or large snack, whether you are "sweet" or "salty", go there with your eyes closed!

Here, everything is homemade, whether it is the bread, the pastries, the coffee or the soup. One appreciates by greediness the Nutella croissant, and one savors the cupcakes, tarts and other brioches. The creations alternate between lemon pie, strawberry, opera or small savory pies and sandwiches of the month. An example? A beet, horseradish cream and black forest ham in a Tradition bread. The three musketeers who make up the team of the Cave du Faubourg make people love the dive bottle like no other. They talk about wines as fine connoisseurs, borrowing from the language of the winemakers. Their cellar is supplied with more than 400 references all year long, from the most beautiful regions of France and even from abroad. In the heart of the Place Sainte-Evpre, you can discover the pastry shop of the same name, founded in 1882. Jean-François Adam creates the house specialty, the Saint-Epvre, a cake made with almond meringue, vanilla buttercream and crushed nougatine. What more can we say? The choice is vast and of quality, without forgetting the usual Lorraine confectionery, sugar vases in the style of the School of Nancy, chocolates and other cookies..., difficult to choose! An address that we like to (re) discover, share and never forget... We love it!

Tables and high stools; in the center, a large wine barrel and a collection of labels on the ceiling. Here, the Mercier brothers offer wines gleaned from the French vineyards. Trained as sommeliers, they have been offering their favorites for the past thirty years, favoring biodynamic wines. So, won over by their own pleasure and knowledge, we discover unknown vintages and marvelous vineyards, to leave sometimes with a few bottles bought at the Cordonnerie across the street. After Gérardmer, the Schmitt chocolatiers set up shop in Nancy in 2011, delighting gourmet Nancy residents and visiting tourists every day. Based in the Vosges, Jean-Élie and Jérôme Schmitt handcraft the products, which are sold by Nicolas in Nancy. Winner of the "Tablettes d'Or" prize in the "Guide des Croqueurs de Chocolat", he created the magnificent "Tablette Stanislas", named after the famous square. The chocolates come in amazing flavors, and you can also indulge in Granit, Daffodil Onions or Mirabelle Gingerbread!

With know-how and passion, Isabelle Rétif and her husband offer you the best of the region at the central market and at the Haussonville market. Andouilles from Val-d'Ajol, truffles from Périgord, white pudding from Rethel, sabodets and confits from Lyonnais and Périgord: the products sold have all or almost all received national and international awards, such as quenelles or tripe. The store also concocts platters of charcuterie, to be discovered in all conviviality!

The stomach gurgles with puff pastry buns, vanilla puddings, homemade cakes, fruit tarts, macaroons, vacherins, bacon, chorizo or chicken strings, Vosges flutes... But what has above all built the house's reputation is its pâté lorrain, which won first prize, as did the vegetable pie (pepper-chicken), the pure butter galette des rois and the traditional baguette, which won second prize. To be savoured without detouring.

It all began on rue Émile Coué in 2019, when Thomas Canonne was brewing his own beer at home. Originally from the north of France, he's seen the bigger picture: Nancy's first brewery of craft beers, both recurrent (like Élégante or Subtile) and ephemeral (seasonal, like Hivernale). The flavors are varied and the blends rich and smooth.
