On Thursday mornings, greengrocers, butchers, shellfish, olive and other succulent products are sold in the Cours Mirabeau. That same day the flower market is next door, quai Victor Hugo, with plants and cut flowers. Non-food products are sold on the Promenade des Barques and Cours Mirabeau on Thursday and Sunday mornings. On Tuesday mornings, the "fripe" and Saturday mornings the organic market offering meats, breads, poultry, honeys, cheeses, wines, fruits and vegetables are held Cours Mirabeau. A newcomer to Narbonne, Stéphanie Asco's highly attractive shop is a concentrate of good taste and gourmet delights, and it's because she doesn't want to be like everyone else that you'll find everything here that you won't find anywhere else. First of all, you'll discover a fine selection of wines from the region and beyond, all organic or biodynamic, but also spirits, gins, rums, digestifs... And what can we say about the selection of gourmet products such as Kalios smoked olive oil! A bit of literature and the very enlightened advice of Fanny the epicurean.

Brioche du Moulin is a bakery which is located at Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, within walking distance from the historical monuments. Here, bread is a passion but also a family story: the owners are former millers of Castelnaudary, now flour traders! Their daughters welcome you in the bakery to offer you various breads (with chestnut flour, with cereals, with figs, with whole wheat, in rustic way, etc), Viennese pastries but also some pastries and salted pleasures: sandwich, croque-monsieur, pizza... Then, for the breakfast, between two shops or simply to enjoy good bread, go to Brioche du Moulin!

Gilles Bourguignon, former rugby player of RCNM, has become a proven businessman but still keen on well-done job.  His company is one of the success stories of Narbonne. In his bakery, Gilles bakes bread, Viennese pastries and pastries found in his eight Aude stores under the brands L'Epi d'Ovalie and Le Fournil de Gilles. Here, the breads are baked in an oven heated by wood and worked in the baker tradition: sourdough bread, maize, organic, sliced, cereals and especially the unmissable spelt bread! You will also find, at any time of the day, Viennese pastries, pastries, salty and sweet pies, sandwiches, pizzas, slices of bread, wraps.... And for our greatest pleasure, there are the products from the region: Galette Occitane, Pignes de la Garrigue without forgetting the fabulous Narbonnaise! If you stop at Le Fournil, Route d'Espagne, you will find a small bar that is fitted out as well as a small terrace near the car park. The sandwiches are generous and the fish fresh, ideal for a short break as you leave work or on holiday route!

In the heart of Narbonne, Le Temps du Chocolat offers a tasty journey around chocolate. Dark chocolate? Milk chocolate? Renard has fallen for Carré Or, 100% grand cru from the Dominican Republic. You'll find creations, baskets, themed chocolates (for the holidays), pretty ballotins of all sizes... François Bodelle also offers delicious homemade macaroons with 68% chocolate, lime, Costa Rican milk chocolate praline and passion fruit. In fine weather, homemade ice creams are available.

The first vines of Château Capitoul, were planted in the ^14th century. It was recognized and elevated to the rank of Cru La Clape in 2015. The wines harvested on the 92.4 ha of the estate have the High Environmental Value label and are part of prestigious appellations. These are the ones you can taste at the cellar or at the restaurants of the Château.

For more than 20 years, right in the center of Les Halles, the Maison Lopez has been delighting its regular customers and tourists with its certified organic tapenades. Go there and like us, you will fall for the classic tapenade made with green or black olives, unless the green one with peppers or the one with Espelette peppers tickles your fancy. You will also find candied garlic and candied tomato. We also like olive oil in half-liter, liter or five-liter cans. You can taste the tapenades and other spreads before buying.

Stéphane and Anna Barbera's grocery store isn't just pretty, it's gourmet too! After a long career in the restaurant business, Stéphane and his daughter have made a dream come true: to open their own gourmet shop. Here you'll find an attractive cheese stall with around a hundred references, as well as charcuterie by the slice and in the form of aperitif platters (to order). You'll also find canning products from Castelnaudary, and spreads made in Gruissan. In short, savoury, sweet and for the thirsty, wines, champagne and spirits.

For three generations, the Canguilhem family has been growing market garden produce in Coursan, in the lower plain of the Aude. Renowned for its famous black and gold stamped Charentais melons, it also offers, for direct sale in its store, asparagus, artichokes, squash, tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries and grapes from the farm. Other seasonal fruits and vegetables and local groceries, including homemade olive oil, complete the picture. Practicing a reasoned agriculture, the farm is certified HVE3, guarantee of food quality.

Bought by the Bousquet family in 1988, this ancient Roman property is today a magnificent and recognized eco-responsible vineyard. The winegrower makes quality wines here, while respecting the wild nature of the territory. The entire vineyard of 30 ha is in organic farming. It is a great success of communication between the winemaker, the vintages of the AOC La Clape and this land with unique aromas. Among the excellent vintages to discover; L'Epervier (white / red / rosé), La Centaurée (white / red), Les Genets (white)...

Welcome to the oldest butcher's shop in Les Halles (1967). We like this address for the good mood and the wise advice of Guillaume and Vanessa. But at the Laforgues', it's the quality that's important and everything here comes from short circuits made in Occitania: beef, veal and pork from the Tarn, lamb from the Corbières, or even charcuterie from Lacaune. The sausages, chorizo, merguez, chipolatas of pork and veal are home made with sheep gut, a delight. What can we say about the famous matured beef rib? A treat!

L'Espadon is an institution in the Halles de Narbonne! Christophe will be able to advise you with his singing southern accent and his smile at all times. He knows all about Mediterranean and Atlantic fish and will give you some tasty tips for cooking them. Three times a week he goes to the fish market of Grau d'Agde to offer you more than 40 different species of fish, 80% of which are from the Mediterranean. You can choose between seafood platters, lobsters, lobster, crab (on order), fish prepared in fillets. Go there with your eyes closed!

After their success in Italian gastronomy at the Narbonne market, Audrey and Julien open this second store, for lovers of their famous fresh pasta and homemade ravioli. Everything is made from local products. It is at the gates of Narbonne that the Ortola family works its domains; Château Notre Dame des Quatourze, Château Tapie, Château de Lunes, Château Ymis, as well as a domain located in Canet d'Aude. Passionate winemakers, they offer red, white and rosé wines, of excellent quality, vinified without sulfur, organic and organic dynamic. They also offer an organic beer brewed on site, offering a choice between blonde, brown, amber and "N.e.i.p.a". Originally from the Champagne region of France, Jean-Michel worked for a network of wine merchants for many years before setting up in the region of 37 PDOs in 2010. His cellars in Narbonne and Gruissan are 100% Languedoc-Roussillon wines, with more than 850 references, including over 500 organic wines, and provide a dynamic wine scene throughout the Narbonnais region, organizing numerous events (see Facebook, Instagram). At the Narbonne boutique, Alain will be able to advise you: Corbières, Minervois, Banyuls, Fitou, Saint-Chinian, Faugères, Collioure, Pic-Saint-Loup, La Clape, Fitou...

Back in 1996, Patrick and Annaïck Hernandez were already "ambassadors" on the markets for the department's signature dish: cassoulet de Castelnaudary. Since 2005, they've been selling the real cassoulet from the capital of Chaur in Narbonne. They've chosen the cassoulet from Maison Escudier, handcrafted with quality products. You'll find it in cassole or vacuum-packed (fresh cassoulet), as well as canned. Other gourmet products are also available here, as well as free-range poultry, for pick-up or delivery.

La Tasse Gourmande is all about good humor and quality products. This Halles stall offers a fine selection of teas and coffees from the famous Lyon roaster Voisin, plus chocolates from reputed houses in the Aude region and beyond. The charming Laetitia takes you on a journey through her teas; take a whiff and you'll be transported to India, Asia or Indonesia, or head for Colombia, Peru, Honduras or Ethiopia with coffees in beans, recyclable capsules or ground. Les têtes plates was the name once given to local winegrowers who made nails in winter. Now it's the name of this organic craft beer, renowned throughout the Occitanie region, offering the guarantee of a meticulous selection of local malt and hops. You'll find a wide choice of beers of different hues, textures and flavors, to be enjoyed in the brewery's pub, in restaurants or sold commercially: Sécade, Cargat, Fresquet, IPA or Gabelou, to name but a few. Not forgetting a soft craft range with cola, tonic, ice tea and lemonade.

Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1999, this impressive 180 hectare estate is rooted in the foothills of Fontfroide, south of Narbonne. Here, the majority of the vineyard is AOC Corbières (Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault), the rest is Vin de Pays d'Oc (Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot). The vintages resulting from the exploitation can be tasted on the spot. A local olive oil from several olive groves and honey are sold at the property.

Le Moulin des Halles is the latest addition to Narbonne's renowned Moulins bakery and patisserie chain. While the main breads and cakes sold by the "older" bakeries can be found here, the house specialties take pride of place. The "Clapettes", baguettes filled with olives, bacon, cumin or reblochon cheese, will delight you or your guests... But above all, don't miss out on the pleasure of treating yourself or your guests to the famous and delicious "Pavés Narbonnais", pine nut tarts or galettes narbonnaises...

Since its acquisition by the Bonfils family, the Château Capitoul estate, where the first vines were planted in the ^14th century, has acquired a fine reputation. The diversity of the soils, made up of pebbles and cobbles, and the Mediterranean climate are assets for producing racy, elegant wines. Hard work based on environmental principles and a passionate love of the vine provide the finishing touch that has earned Château Capitoul regular awards. The cellar offers tastings and events in a majestic setting.

Here is a boutique of character dedicated to living wines from here and elsewhere. Tiphaine Thibert, sommelier and trainer, carefully selects her winemakers and offers more than 220 references of wines renewed according to the seasons, ranging from thirsty wines to more complex wines. Tiphaine will know how to adapt to neophytes with her sense of pedagogy while capturing the attention of the most initiated. You will appreciate the wine bar and its snack bar with quality snacks (organic and local) and the terrace. Tiphaine also gives oenology courses.

Don't be fooled by the name of this stall in the Narbonne market, it's only for gourmets! If Luc Daudin, who works in family with his son Thomas, opens his stall from Thursday to Sunday it is because at the beginning of the week, he is in his laboratory of pork-butchery in Pamiers in Ariège to prepare you excellent dishes: sausage, sausage, black pudding... The products are entirely prepared by them, and with passion. Our favourite? The millas ariégeois, made of corn flour and milk! It is delicious!

This bakery-patisserie exudes an atmosphere of yesteryear, a time when bread was fashioned with love and passion. From real natural sourdough breads to baguettes, speciality breads and the inimitable "Tronçon" XXL, found at the tables of the finest restaurants, everything here smacks of the talented baker's savoir-faire. Mickaël makes excellent churned butter viennoiseries, shortbread, brioche and even kouign-amann! Cakes for all occasions, catered dishes, snacks and a healthy dose of kindness.

Whatever the time of day, there's always a good reason to go to Cortado, run by two friendly brothers: Salwan, who loves to cook, and Elyas, who used to be a roaster. It's here that you'll find a wide selection of original coffees, chocolates, smoothies and organic teas, including a matcha latte with dates, the pride of the house. Depending on the time of day, you can also enjoy a brunch with a choice of original sandwiches or tapas like nowhere else. On the sweet side, cakes, brownies and other delights can be enjoyed at any time.

La Fabrique is a large artisan bakery, pastry shop and sandwich shop ideally located near the mediatheque. Flour is sourced from the renowned Sauret mill, in operation since the ^12th century. Everything is homemade, and the quality of taste is omnipresent, from the various breads (organic, sourdough...) to the fabulous pastries and snacks made from salads, wraps or burgers. Sweet and savoury dishes can be taken away or eaten on the premises in the very pleasant back room, which has a library and doubles as a tea room.
