Royal property since 1160, its 18th-century Sainte-Anne church served as a watchtower. Old houses, the ramparts of the old town and the Giselon and Moulin à Vent towers can be seen. Heading towards Égreville, you'll come across the 15th-century Château de la Motte, now owned by Count Bernard de La Rochefoucauld. The town's coat of arms represents various symbols of the town: azure for the river that crosses its territory; a masonry band symbolizing the castle; the greyhound, a symbol of grace and a representation of Saint Anne, patron saint of Lorrez-le-Bocage; and finally, the key is that of the church.
