PÂTISSERIE MICHELINE ET PAULETTE
Behind Micheline and Paulette hide Juliette and Valentin who gave their pastry shop the names of two of their grandmothers. The couple left for a year to discover new horizons far away, but also new culinary experiences. The idea of opening their pastry shop in Bordeaux was born and became a reality three years ago. In a trendy vintage boutique, they feast on Valentine's little marvels and the word is not too strong. It revisits the great classics of pastry making and sublimates them in an original way. Seasonal fruits, sometimes organic, are bought on the markets of Bordeaux, the flour comes from the Dordogne and everything is made on the spot in small quantities so that there is no waste. The cakes are beautifully presented and all are the envy of all of us. What to choose between the jasmine-cinnamon tart, the Tatin with star anise cream or the Cara-pop (feuillantine, caramel heart, popcorn infused mounted ganache and toasted popcorn) to name but a few? Everything is delicious
