Frédéric Coiffé, master chef of France of Portuguese origin, opened L'Atelier du Goût in Bordeaux-Lac. In Bacalan, l'Echoppe des Halles is a gourmet counter where he makes dishes on the spot with products from Les Halles. His creation, which has become his speciality, are the Chouk's that can only be found here. They are small round choux, soft, filled with vanilla or chocolate and delicately sprinkled with icing sugar or chocolate powder... A delight, without forgetting the pasteis de nata like in Portugal.
