MARCHÉ DES CAPUCINS

Covered market and market hall
4.6/5
8 reviews

This historic market (it's been around since the 18th century, after all!) is an integral part of the town's soul. All year round, it's alive with a unique atmosphere: people come to shop, eat, have a coffee or a drink, buy flowers, sample oysters and world specialties, and even pick up a few items of clothing outside. The meat, French and Spanish charcuterie and cheeses are magnificent! As for prices, especially for fruit and vegetables, they remain very affordable.

Today, some 160 traders are spread out on the Place du Bourg and on the Quai des Salinières, offering mainly foodstuffs, but also various items for the home, cosmetics, shoes and clothing. Ideal to buy in quantity, because there are often interesting offers.
