Lac des Rouges Truites: this is the name of a commune, made up of a constellation of small hamlets scattered around a lake of the same name, at an altitude of 919 metres. The town hall and the church are in the hamlet of Les Thévenins where there is also a tourist complex: the Domaine du Bugnon. The other hamlets are Le Maréchet, Le Mont-Noir, Le Voisinal and Les Martins. Above the lake, the Mont-Noir forest rises to an altitude of over 1,000 metres. It covers half of the surface of the commune! A good place for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, you can enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on marked routes.
