Located in the Saint-Thierry massif, the commune of Prouilly has four hamlets: l'Orée du Bois, la Chute des Eaux, la Ferme de Naurois, and les Trois Bouts de Bois. Dating from the 12th century, the Saint-Pierre church, of Romanesque architecture, is worth a visit. You can admire some remarkable pieces: baptismal fonts from the 12th century, three statues of Saint Peter and bishops from the 14th century, paintings of Christ on the cross from the 17th century and the Way of the Cross made by the painter François Clovis Hécart-Gaillot. To the east of the village, the tumulus la Husse dominates the Vesle river from its 10 meters high, it is supposed to be the tomb of Pharamond.
