This small village of barely a hundred inhabitants, situated a few kilometres south of Vouziers on the road to Binarville, is not far from a German cemetery in the middle of nowhere. This forest cemetery, with imperceptible boundaries and located away from the village, was the first to be opened in 1915 in the region. It was located on German soil, at the level of the3rd line camps. There are 1,111 individual graves, the monument of the 27th Landwher Regiment and the grave and stele of Baron Von Müllenheim-Rechberg, killed at the Haute-Chevauchée on 8 April 1916. Access is free all year round.
