Reuilly is a land of wine. The municipality is located in the area covered by the Éponyme AOC. The annual production of Reuilly in white, red and rosé is about 8 000 hectolitres. The municipality is also located in the geographical area and in the milk production area, the manufacture and refining of Valençay cheese. It is located in the northeastern part of the department of Indre, at the boundary with the Cher department, in the natural region of Berrichonne champagne, in a vallon perpendicular to the valley of Arnon. The communal territory is crossed by the great hiking trail of Champagne Berrichonne. The name of Reuilly comes from Rulliacus, derived, perhaps from Rullius, name of an owner of a Gallo-Roman villa. Many museums (wine and wine museum, museum of berrichonne champagne, museum of painter Paul Surtel…), and several monuments (Château de La Ferté, Saint Denis Church, Cellar-Dieu…) make the tourist attractions of the municipality.
