The Bazoche-Gouët, located in the natural park of the Perche 9 km from Authon, is the only one of the five baronnies that retained the names of these lords of Petit Perche circa 1050. In the th century, it was called «La». On the banks of the River Yèvre, the large water mill built in the th century has undoubtedly replaced a th century seigneurial mill. Transformed into a museum, it has three levels and its hydraulic mechanism has been kept in perfect condition.
