It also serves fish couscous, another great specialty of the region. The spaghetti al nero di seppia (with cuttlefish ink) is a must try for seafood lovers. Served a little cold, however. One appreciates its micro-terrace which also allows to taste the popular atmosphere of the district.

This family and living trattoria is typically catanaise and serves popular fish and seafood specialties, especially: fried rolls, caponatina, parmigiana, not forgetting the essential pasta at Norma. The kitchen is practically made in the room and is very good. It is a popular address by the people of the neighborhood, so it is highly recommended to book.

Nice restaurant with a nice terrace overlooking the sea and offering a magnificent view on the bay. We already like this setting for a good lunch or dinner. Of course, with such a proximity to the elements, we expect fresh and tasty fish specialities and grilled shellfish. And we were not disappointed! We loved the traditional spaghetti with clams and zucchini, but also the demonic scialatelliwith red prawns from Mazara (in Sicily), and even more the local almond parfait.

On a beautiful terrace facing the port, this renowned restaurant serves fish specialties, of course. But the style is more fusion, integrating local ingredients, such as raw swordfish marinated with lemon (from Sicily) and mint or tuna bricks with Malvasia wine (the wine of the Aeolian Islands). The local wine is also drunk in bottles... To have the privilege of sitting here and not to miss one of the best dinners on the island, reservations are highly recommended.

Hotel A Cannata offers apartments (from studio to three-room) with covered patio, sea view and kitchenette, as well as rooms with bathroom, in a charming Aeolian style structure. The rooms are spacious, with blue ceramic tiles to match the bedspreads and the horizon. The hotel's restaurant is very well known. The tables are set in the shade of a pine forest. The cuisine served is Aeolian: calamari with Malvasia wine, a tender octopus salad, spaghetti with eggplant and almost fried tuna.

Better known as "Dal dottore" (at the doctor's), this restaurant is a landmark for Palermitans who have been coming here for over 120 years to enjoy a healing meal. No room on the spot, but a good choice of specialties, and a good plan to do your shopping before going for a picnic in an outdoor park in the city.
