Their pizzas are among the best on the island. Specialities: Tavoletta (three types of pizza in one) and Cannolo (cannolo-shaped) pizzas. There is no lack of choice and the welcome is very friendly. An institution on the island. Managed by a whole family from Lampedusa, this restaurant founded in 1983 is very friendly. No à la carte menu. The dishes, mainly fish-based, follow the inspirations of the day and the arrivals and are all on the slate. A festival of seafood, fish divinely prepared in the local fashion. By the way, the star is the "aragosta": the lobster! Especially in the fresh homemade pasta, to be damned. Small terrace to enjoy the beautiful days. Reasonable prices for a quality cuisine.

A family restaurant in the heart of the old town. The table offers six menus of local cuisine (Proserpina, Ennese, vegetarian, central, fish, etc.), some of which include an excellent antipasti buffet, perfect for a taste of everything! We recommend the maccarruna alla castrugiuannisa, an ancient dish prepared with a sweet pork and cocoa sauce called "u'sciabbò". Beautiful interior room with high ceilings and a small terrace to refresh yourself. Pleasant welcome.

When you come to lose yourself in Acquacalda for lunch or dinner, you are looking for the exceptional in the setting as well as in the plate. This is what this quiet restaurant, located on the outskirts of Lipari, promises you, with a sublime panorama. The sea and the volcanic rock set the scene in front of the tables. Its menu suggests a wide variety of fresh products from the waters of Lipari... and only from the waters of Lipari. It's so much easier to serve yourself on the spot! The swordfish is a delight. Menu only in Italian but the staff is English speaking.

It's a small bakery in a corner of the square facing the cathedral that serves very good pizza units at any price.

This pub located near the cathedral of Monreale offers pasta dishes cooked with fresh products. It is really good and surprising because the address is modest. You can opt for a few tables set outside on a platform. You will also come here to quench your thirst with a wide choice of beers and wines. Concerts are organized on Friday evenings. The setting is very arty, musical and cinematographic, with vinyl covers from the 1970s and 1980s. Friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from the owners.

We love the spectacular and beautiful panoramic view of Lake Martinelli from this restaurant. Go there for lunch to make the most of the incredible panorama that the terrace offers. The food is good and generous. Special mention for the pizza alla Norma, an adaptation of the eponymous Sicilian pasta recipe (with tomato sauce, fried eggplant, grated salted ricotta and basil), for the famous seafood risotto and penne a la Tyndaris, or the orecchiette with prawns and pistachios.

Bruschetta topped with local products will be offered to you upon arrival and the hostess will guide you to choose from a rich menu. For dessert, don't miss the pistachio cake with its scoop of vanilla ice cream. A moment of pure delight!

Don't be fooled by the name of the establishment and dare to enter this small restaurant with a somewhat rustic and intimate setting. You won't be disappointed! At Anna's, we eat the good dishes that she passionately concocts, following family home-made recipes, and which are brought by the very kind Salvatore. Here everything is of quality, the quantities are generous and the prices are really reasonable. Try the pasta alla norma or the antipasti tray, excellent!

The address is touristy, no doubt, just in front of the Norman palace. But the food is delicious, the prices are standard and the terrace is very pleasant, with the view on the building and the garden. In antipasto: octopus à la grecque fondant, in primo piato homemade seafood ravioli (prawns, mussels, fish, squid) followed by a fillet of swordfish with black truffle, divine. Passing through an ancient porch you will also find a room inside the restaurant, air-conditioned and a lifesaver during the hot summer days.

Don't be fooled by its name, it's not just a wine bar. When you pass the well stocked plates, you stop! The Cuban chef at this unpretentious address draws inspiration from the seasons to create creative dishes with an exotic touch. A bistronomy cuisine for gourmets. On the slate, at reasonable prices, dishes with lots of greenery, fresh fruit, fish and seafood cooked to perfection or in generous tartars. The wines are of course excellent and the waiters are smiling, efficient and friendly.

This bar-restaurant is located in an alleyway between via Roma and via Maqueda. The welcome is warm and the cuisine is of high quality. Not to be missed for a thrifty lunch in the historic centre. The Bocconcini Belpaese, bacon rolled on a ball of melting mozzarella, are devilish. The tagliatelle of the house, with lobster bisque and a stracciatella hat, are original and delicious. All this for a more than reasonable addition. Do not hesitate to ask for a table on the pleasant terrace.

The hotel restaurant of the same name. The service and presentation are impeccable, worthy of the large tables, the wine list is varied and the kitchen oscillates between typical dishes and other influences of Mediterranean and international influences. A wide choice of fish and home desserts.

Excellent pizzas served quickly despite the arrival (the restaurant is located in the centre). A high level of attendance attests to the quality of the dishes and the reception.

It must be said that the two boys who run the place are very welcoming. Breakfast for three times nothing in the morning with homemade pies. In the area, it is said that this is where you can taste the best pane cunzato, a speciality of Scopello prepared from bread baked in a wood-fired oven with a lot of olive oil, tomatoes, cheese, anchovies and oregano.

In a vaulted stone room or on a large terrace, enjoy a good choice of pizzas, bruschettas, salads, panini... The terrace is very pleasant. The place is often sold out because of the democratic prices and the gargantuan quantities. Pasta and bread are prepared in the basement. We advise you the plate of localantipasti (focaccia, local forms, caponata and ricotta), the pistachio ravioli, excellentissimo! And for dessert, the homemade sweetness accompanied by cinnamon with a small glass of almond liqueur...

This restaurant exists since 1972. This Botte is located just in front of the famous Bam Bar where you can have an aperitif before a table becomes available. You can also approach the problem the other way around: go and have dessert at the Bam Bar after the pizza at the Botte. In any case, this is one of the very touristy addresses. Yes, it's crowded, but it's good and the service is friendly. The terrace under its arbour and its trees is full of charm. However, the cuisine has been very disappointing for a few years.

The kitchen is in the dining room under your eyes. Very good atmosphere and excellent address for fish (fresh and weight according to your wishes). It is also advisable to book festive days! The boss is very supportive.

Located not far from Piazza Duomo, in a small and quiet street, this restaurant offers ancient Sicilian cuisine. Try the spaghetti cà muddica (anchovies, breadcrumbs), the penne Donna Lola (tomatoes, zucchini, salted ricotta), the spaghetti turiddù (capers, anchovies, tomato filet, breadcrumbs). Or the orange salad, the tuna cà cipudolata (with red onions), the suckling pig fillet with spicy sauce, etc. Add a charming welcome and a quality wine list to enjoy a nice portion of Sicilian culture. The hotel is a good place to stay. The specialty of the house is pizza: they are worth the detour here! A good address.
