Famous for its monkfish, sole or delicious bouquets, Le Phare also prepares, in its comfortable and comfortable surroundings, some well-known specialities (ajo blanco to apple and Grapes, pastel pastel, cuttlefish albóndigas, fish frying, rice dishes topped with rice dishes). It's chic, but retains the typically gaditane atmosphere thanks to some figures of gouailleurs and professional servers. The house of López is very recommended for seafood (cigalas…) and fresh fish (pargo…). Prices are relatively affordable, especially when it comes to small frying and tellin (coquinas), more economical. A safe value of the Costa del Sol for its friendly service and wine list.

Facing the harbour, a safe and elegant value since 1982. To order the eyes closed on the map (but not for the prices!) of decent quality: …, gallinetas, cuajerada of pescado al horno… More fréquentable, off season, despite génereuses quantities.

Starred by Bibendum, in a small modern room of the city, the young chef Ángel León, son of fisherman, a preference for delicate futuristic creations based on seafood features. Its lobster from Cadiz bay and its rice with the plankton already make them speak well beyond the Andalusia region. Reception and service worthy of our hopes.

Without waiter that uses the péquin on the promenade, the last of the backs of restaurants is a tribute to a valorous Mexican bullfighter. A terrace, a room on the ground floor and another upstairs invite to fresh Sanlúcar, accompanied by a good white light local wine (a grape palomillo Viña Galvana, for example). After wonderful olives broken aperitif, the menu of the day and the specialities are declaimed in a jolly way: all sorts of fresh fish grilled on plancha (espada's...), a prepared monkfish... and full of seafood. The very good price at more than reasonable and this since 1955! Typical welcome for a régalade on the horizon...

The menu of the house is always attractive and roboratif. Simple tapas or compound dishes, it's one without the dessert. The choice is rather, and seafood lovers will be happy to find regularly fish, shrimps or fresh squid of the day. If you are more carnivorous, tap homemade ham chunks. It's jamón jamón!

Near the río facing the catamaran which established the link with Cadix, an unchanging address of very informal look (the room has not changed for forty years or more!) who always well fills the dish with clams, fried fish and chocos with plancha. Fine wines and economic snack. In season in the evening, we had the tail, come earlier than the buildings!

This bar-restaurant offers an economical menu and cheerful service. It has the great advantage of being located in the heart of the historic centre near the church. Pleasant thanks to a Belle Epoque decoration inside and a large terrace, cooled in summer and heated in winter. For four generations, we have come here when we are hungry for a little sweetness. If it is hot, we will opt for traditional ice cream and try the excellent Copa Fútbol with nuts, turrón and amaretto liqueur, its famous leche rizada, milk, ice cream and cinnamon or refreshing batidos, granizados and horchatas. The smart advice is undoubtedly chocolate con churros, the house's great specialty, to be discovered without moderation! And except for addicts, more when it's cooler.

One of the Andalusian marine customs is to buy fried fish served in paper cones, weight or portion in the freidurias, and this address located on the market square of the flowers is among the most appreciated by both Gaditanos and visitors. In the room, on the terrace (if you find a place!) or to take away, for more freshness and choice (including shrimps of all styles and shells) it is better to come to lunch!

With two stalls addresses (one for the fee, one for frit!), this restaurant-brasserie is one of El Puerto kings for fish (fried or boiled) and seafood. Over fifty years of good and loyal services. Institutional!

Launched in 1994 by Jean-Claude Juston, a Frenchman who wrote culinary guides, this restaurant was taken over in 2013 by two Frenchmen from the Basque Country, Brigitte and Michel, who maintained its position as a vegetarian restaurant offering a refined world cuisine, tajines, risottos... most often made with organic products. All this to enjoy in a pretty Berber house with a terrace. And for those who need a breakdown service solution in terms of housing, the workshop also has two guest rooms.

On the edge of the Guadalquivir, it is an establishment that is a meeting place between gastronomy, art and nature: both eco-friendly products and restaurant that serve tapas or quality products (liver con pisto de manzana, chipirones y arroz con curry, pera de) and vegetarian specialities.

Squid, octopus, gambas, cuttlefish... more than a dozen proposals on the menu of this family-run freiduría founded in 1929. You order the weight you want at the counter and it is served in a cone. To be enjoyed on the terrace, with a salad or to take away. The drinks are served on the terrace. Ideal for small or large untimely hunger and family breaks. It has just added a new space with a minimalist look, but air-conditioned.

Near the Puerta de Elvira, here is a nice "healthy food" area with jazzy or flamenco music as a backdrop for delicious vegan dishes. In the cosy room sitting on benches or on the terrace in the shade of the parasols, you can choose among the specialities: pumpkin spaghetti with salad, avocado and parmesan, homemade pasta with a sauce of your choice or a wok of Asian vegetables, and chocolate truffles for dessert. The starters and main courses are quite copious. Accompanied by organic wines. Pleasant and relaxed service.

This is certainly one of the city's finest gastronomic establishments. Fernando and Paco's restaurant is nationally renowned, serving mainly seafood and fish dishes (fried, grilled or in sauce) from local fishermen. It's a real treat: in a large, comfortable dining room or on an upstairs terrace overlooking the mouth of the Guadalquivir and the pine forests of Doñana. The address also has a tapas bar (more economical and closer to the shore), just around the corner.

As its name indicates, it is a restaurant only vegetarian. It prepares excellent Swiss cheese fondue. The wines are green, and the beer is handcrafted. Inside (closed walls by the customer) or on the small terrace at the foot of the Alcazaba, you eat well at reasonably reasonable prices.

In a city that can, at times, be a little tiring, even oppressive, we will probably want to eat healthy food. Cañadu, on the square where the young Pablo Picasso was having fun, is just the thing with his vegan adaptations of Andalusian cuisine. In a pleasant room with a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse clientele, or on the large terrace, you will be served generous portions, fresh fruit juices, and organic wholemeal bread. As a bonus, on Thursday and Friday evenings, musical atmospheres with piano, except in summer.

A class hotel, run for its restaurant which displays rates related to good oriental cuisine, inspired by the culinary traditions of Maghreb. In the header, you can settle in a garden terrace in an enchanting setting to taste square lamb and spicy tuna. Note that the address also has an excellent little chiringuito with a few tables on the beach of Los Lances, to taste good grilled fish at more affordable prices.
