Currants and tomatoes, zucchini and potatoes, rich in flavors and vitamins, for your basket! Bertrand Meffe uses agroforestry and permaculture to produce organic fruit and vegetables in an environmentally-friendly way. His orchard is made up of old varieties from the Montesquieu conservatory. Most of the produce is transformed into soups, ratatouille, compotes, spreads, jams... The two brothers, Vincent and Simon Baille-Barrelle, work together to develop the family orchard, which has been awarded the "Vergers écoresponsables" label, with quality, traceability and authenticity as their guiding principles. Visit the farm store for their apples (some of them organic) and juices, as well as strawberries and many other fruits and vegetables in season, and many other products selected by them. And why not try your hand at picking beans, zucchini and squash in the field or vegetable garden - a fun, family-friendly activity!

Benjamin and Laetitia set up this farm in 2020, followed by a boutique in 2023 where you'll also find products from other producers. You'll find all the fruits and vegetables of the season, as well as groceries, local dairy products and more. You can also meet the farm's animals, including the herd of Highland Cattle and Ouessant sheep that tend the meadows. They are also sold at local markets.

Agnès concocts jams cooked the old-fashioned way in copper cauldrons, but that's not all! In addition to her products, you can sample her walnut cakes, fruit jellies made with farm fruit and other specialties such as her crumble, on reservation. Thomas Mollet and Lénaïc Lecrénais continue to write the story of Les Ruchers du Born, a farm that has been producing honey since 1960! Accompanied by Odile and Clémence, they raise 900 to 1,000 colonies of bees, encouraging their natural development. To achieve this, they practice transhumant beekeeping, moving the hives several times a year to keep pace with the bees and the flowers. The Belair farm is in organic farming. It sells packages of beef and milk-fed veal, to order, at the farm. It also sells preserves: rillettes and beef terrines, beef sausage, for a change from the pig's pork. These preserves can be flavoured with ceps or cranberries. Cooked tripe is also available. Hervé Gaillard's farm is typical of the Médoc, set among pine trees. Hervé welcomes you to the farm, but you won't see any cows, goats or pigs, because Hervé is a heliciculturist, a breeder of large and small grey snails, which he transforms into ready-made meals and preserves. He'll be delighted to tell you all about his snail breeding, his methods and his animals... And when spring comes, Hervé produces strawberries and asparagus, so you can buy fresh and preserved strawberries, jams and white asparagus direct from the farm.

You can buy meat produced by Claire Saint-Marc, breeder of genuine Gascon pigs, direct from the farm. The pigs are raised in the open air, and the products are available as fresh meat, cured meats and preserves. Choose from sausages and roasts, coppa, pâté de campagne, boudin, saindoux, filet mignon, rouelle, ventrèche... The meat is processed according to the breeder's family recipes.

The David family has been producing honey for several generations. The small Porte des Landes apiary is located around Poussignac and does not practice transhumance. It is at the edge of the forest and in the surrounding wasteland that the bees search for the nectar that will give the honey its aroma. This traditional, ancestral and natural beekeeping method produces a range of delicate, fruity honeys. Today, Marie-Claude David is the beekeeper.

Ferme de Marauli offers direct sales of free-range poultry from the South-West of France, raised in a natural environment according to regional farming traditions. The farm's poultry is fed on quality cereals and treated with essential oils. The chicks arrive at the farm from the age of one day, and have access to grassy runs from 6 weeks of age. Chickens, turkeys, whole guinea fowl, cut up or in confit, galantine, but also products from neighboring farmers, dried duck fillets, foies gras, terrines...

Laurence and Jean-Claude have been making gourmet products at Ferme de l'Herm since 1978. Their daughter, Marie-Delphine, has taken up the torch under the watchful eye and experience of her ever-present parents. The local products on offer come exclusively from the farm's own ducks. Pâté, rillettes, foie, medallions, magret, confits and other specialties can be found at the farm itself, and on Périgord markets. Poultry and lamb complete the menu of a production on a human scale.

Beekeeper Philippe Labay and his bees produce a fine range of honeys. His beekeeping operation was set up in a special wildlife conservation area on the edge of the Landes forest. Most of the honey is produced on fallow land, woods and natural clearings, biotopes that offer generous botanical diversity and a wealth of pollen and nectar for the bees. A mixed farming operation with two very different focuses. The farm raises free-range, antibiotic-free fattened ducks for foie gras and confits, and beautifully shorn sheep for mohair wool. Sales are direct from the farm, by order and by appointment, of whole, live ducks, or cut up fresh, vacuum-packed or canned. Le Canard Joli is a long history of family tradition passed down through the generations. Quentin is the repository of his grandparents' recipes and the dexterity of the other grandfather. Here, he is in contact with the ducks and geese from his farm, to the sale on the markets. That's why the shop is often closed in the morning, he is often in Périgueux, Trélissac or Saint Yrieix. He enhances our gustatory desires from foie gras, and his figs filled with duck foie gras are snatched up like little candies.

Marie-Laure and Bruno Bachelier settled in 1984 in Chavenat. To the cereal production of the farm they quickly added the breeding of fat ducks. The ducks, from the Périgord region, are force-fed with grain corn produced on the farm, which guarantees quality products without GMOs or preservatives. They transform the ducks in their laboratory, adding a personal touch that gives their originality to the dishes concocted here. Online or in their shops, you can stock up on supplies.

La Féerie Gourmande takes your senses on a journey through a fun tour where, through a museum space, you will learn about the origin and history of chocolate, confectionery and jams. The exhibition area will allow you to admire gigantic sugar and chocolate sculptures. Depending on the workshop's production schedule, you can also attend a demonstration and observe the work of Francis Miot. This master confectioner, who has been awarded many prestigious prizes, has a unique know-how. The House of Francis Miot celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2020.

The Prélide farm has been run by the same family for six generations! And it is now 15 years that we raise ducks in the open air! Poultry and lamb have joined the ducks, and are also fed with cereals grown on the property. You will find here the classic foie gras preserves, but also poultry and capons for the holidays. At the Prélide farm, we prepare dishes for your receptions for up to 500 people! There are producer's stores in La Rochelle, Surgère and Ile de Ré.

In spring, we watch for the farm's announcements to go pick strawberries and raspberries. Grown under cover, at man's height, without chemical treatment, they have made the reputation of La Frolle. At the head of the farm, François and Simon Beneteau have chosen a reasoned agriculture and welcome the public all year round for direct sales and picking of multiple fruits, from their 12 hectares of orchard. On the spot, in the nursery, you can also find different flower, shrub and vegetable plants to replant in your garden.

At the helm of this friendly farm is the Bidan family, well known for their asparagus production. During the spring production season, generally from mid-April to early June, you can order your asparagus and pick it up at the farm on certain days. But the Bidans don't just grow asparagus, they also produce organic table grapes of the Exalta (sweet white seedless) and Muscat de Hambourg varieties. So the harvests come thick and fast in September, and so do the sales.

Direct sales of fruit from the orchard, apples and pears of various varieties. You can buy fruit by the case (with deposit) or in 3 kg bags and bottles of apple juice. The fruit harvest begins in the last week of August and lasts until April, depending on production. The first varieties harvested are "Williams" pears and "Gala" apples, and later, in autumn, Chanteclerc, Golden, Fuji... and for pears, Conference and Comice. A true conservatory orchard!

One of the region's leading honey producers. Jean-Pierre Troia, a beekeeper, sells his range of honeys direct, in a number of local producers' stores and at markets. He raises his bees and sets up his apiaries along and around the Avance river. He makes his honey just with the nectar of the flowers his workers gather, for which he is truly passionate. His collection includes acacia, borage, heather, chestnut, all-flower and forest honeys, as well as a creamy breakfast honey.

In Vigeois, the L'Escargot Vigeoyeux farm specializes in snail farming. They offer a variety of snail-based products, such as mini bites, snails stuffed in shells, gros gris snails, confit snails, court-bouillonnés snails, nettle snails, forest snails, aperitif snails and escargoïades. L'Escargot Vigeoyeux also takes part in local farmers' markets in Segur le Chateau, Voutezac, Le Saillant and Uzerche.

Located in Bugeat, in the Haute-Corrèze region of France, Les Truites de la Vézère is a fish farm specializing in the breeding and sale of trout. Founded in 1966, the farm has had several owners over the years. Today, the farm is run by Yohan and his partner Vanessa. Agnès Ravailleau's saffron farm, where she produces crocus sativus using sustainable agriculture methods. The pistils are harvested, pruned and dehydrated in October. Les Jardins de VYMM is a market gardener based in Lanton. They offer a wide variety of fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetables. Les Jardins de VYMM are also present at independent winegrowers' fairs in various French towns, where you can discover and taste their award-winning wines.

In the Sallette family, the love of the land brings together all generations. It all began in the 1960s with Pierre and Paulette, old-time Medoc farmers. In 1988, the first vines were planted and the property was equipped with a cellar. Since then, the estate has worked hard and with passion to produce a quality wine. Entered in 2018 in the world of Crus Bourgeois Supérieurs, Château Pierre de Montignac can be visited and offers a tasting of their red wines.

Near Mont-de-Marsan, meet a producer of armagnacs and white and rosé Côte de Gascogne wines. Christelle Lasseignou farms eight hectares of vines in the Bas Armagnac Landais terroir. She offers tastings by appointment, including her flagship product: the AOP Floc de Gascogne aperitif, a blend of fresh grape juice and young armagnac. The Bastebieille farm regularly wins numerous medals at the Concours Général Agricole, including a gold medal in the "Whole Duck Foie Gras in Preserves" category in 2020. Conservative producers for five generations, the Lesgourgues family raises ducks for foie gras (traditional force-feeding with grain corn) and also produces all the cereals for their feed. Vignobles Pellé is a winery offering a wide range of wines. Among the products available are clairet, Château de Jayle aged in vats or barrels, and BIB wines of different varieties. A "Plaisir Fruité" boxed set is also available on special offer.

Domaine Vigne is a winery located in the magnificent Ibie Valley, in Lagorce, Ardèche. Vines planted on terraces of rolled pebbles produce fresh, fruity wines made from a blend of grenache, syrah, grenache blanc and marsanne. Mas de Jean offers red, rosé and white wines, with intense aromas of red fruit, blackcurrant, strawberry and wild berries.
