Formerly named Domaine de Bord-Madeleine and then Château Lafleur Vachon, Château Raymond Tapon has a prestigious history. In 1904, Mr Chaumet-Tapon's wines won the grand prix in Saint-Louis. The vines, cultivated according to traditional methods, are located in Saint-Emilion. A superb black robe, dark in depth and purple on the surface, dresses this bottle with an expressive bouquet that combines red fruits and spices with an elegant toasted and fresh woody flavour.

Château de l'Hurbe, built in the ^18th century, has been family-owned since 1921. Its vines are planted on the slopes of the Dordogne, including 10 hectares in the Côte-de-Bourg appellation and 15 hectares in Bordeaux Supérieur. The range also includes dry white, crémant and rosé, and the estate also produces excellent sweet and sparkling grape juice. Did you know that the Montmorillon brewery dates back to 1843? It was located in Saulgé and its beer was the best-selling beer in Free France during the German occupation before closing in the 1960s. In 2015, it was the entrepreneur François Guillon who decided to give the Montmorillonnais their beer back by brewing on site. He has not managed to get his hands on the original recipe, but he hopes to give it back its letters of nobility. Camille and Benjamin have been making artisanal natural spirits and liqueurs for over 10 years, and created one of the first Patxaran in the Northern Basque Country. Their specialties are well known: Patxaran, Manzana, Patxaka, Basque Pastis, Gin and craft beers. 2024 marks a turning point, with the takeover of Txopinondo (Sagarno apple wine), and the opening (at last!) of their boutique-bar-tasting room to enjoy their specialities after work or later in the evening!

This château, built in 1598 and owned by the Annereau family since 1390, tells a wonderful story. The owner, Dominique Hessel, has never ceased to pursue the work he has begun. The vineyard of La Louvière was born in the ^13th century. It passed through several hands: a parliamentary family, winegrowing monks, and then the merchant and mayor of Bordeaux, J.-B. Mareilhac, who had the present château built. Forgotten at the beginning of the ^19th century, the property was finally bought in 1965 by André Lurton, who gave it back its letters of nobility. He then undertook major work in the vineyard (the château was classified as a historical monument in 1991), and revived the Graves appellation with the Pessac-Léognan appellation...

It all began (or almost) in 1933, when a handful of winegrowers from Rauzanne decided to build a shared winery which, 70 years later, would become France's first Cave Coopérative Vinicole. In the 18th century, Château Pomys was one of the most important estates in Saint-Estephe, having belonged successively to great families such as d'Estournel, Martin, Hostein, Pullum and Arnaud. Michel Reybier, owner of the Domaines Reybier hotel group and of the second grand cru classé Cos d'Estournel, has bought Pomys. The estate has a dozen rooms, a seminar room, a reception room and a catering service. The lounges are in the château, in the cellars with a view of the park, the wine estate and the towers.

Château Mercier is a traditional, family-run wine estate on the right bank of the Gironde, northwest of the Côtes-de-Bourg appellation. Today run by the Chéty siblings, it has been in the hands of this passionate family since 1698 - a total of thirteen generations! The 23 hectares of vines are cultivated according to tradition. The second oldest appellation in the Bordeaux region, Graves de Vayres officially came into being in January 1926. Nestled between Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, this wine-growing region forms an enclave on the commune of Vayres and the upper part of Arveyres. Today, some thirty estates share the terroir. This cooperative winery is one of the oldest in France. It brings together three appellations: Listrac, Moulis and Haut-Médoc. The 45 winegrowers, who have been associated since 1935, are environmentally aware: some use fallow land to combat short-nuke, while others use sheep for 100% natural weeding. 200 m² are dedicated to the tasting and sale (reds, rosés, whites, in bottles or bibs) of their production.
