It all began (or almost) in 1933, when a handful of winegrowers from Rauzanne decided to build a shared winery which, 70 years later, would become France's first Cave Coopérative Vinicole. Nearly 300 members contribute an average production of 160,000 hectolitres of AOC wines. At the cutting edge of technology, with highly sophisticated winemaking tools, the Rauzan cellars are well worth a visit. A warm welcome and good advice add to the many attractions of this address.
