Saint-Savinien is one of the most pleasant towns, offering a soft light for everyone who wants to stroll along the Charente. But the town also has a miniature port which is linked to the passion of one man: Jean-Louis Foucaud. This ship carpenter had the idea of creating model fishing and merchant ships for children. This was done as early as 1987 with the first four ships that delighted children. Today, 18 replicas are available, to the delight of children, who can take the helm for a moment. The most? The decors are particularly realistic and offer a resolutely pleasant atmosphere: plaice, bridge, bastion, dyke. Smart, parents are welcome and will be able to take advantage of the snack and lunch formulas offered by the snack bar on the shaded terrace, on the edge of the lake. On the site you will find the "île aux manèges" which offers other playful pleasures: carousel, swings and 1920's period merry-go-round, pedal go-kart circuit...

In the heart of a 9.5-hectare wooded estate, this water park dominates the Airotel l'Océan campsite, with 5,000 m² of fun activities. The covered, heated area features a tropical ambience: wave lagoon, counter-current river, massaging jets. The town of Limoges has recently had its aquatic centre. Inaugurated with great pomp in January 2015, this 2 500 m ² space is located in Esther's area, not far from the cinema. With a surface area of 410 ha, the lake of Neuvic is fed by the stream of the same name which has its source on the plateau of Millevaches. The development of the lake, following the construction of the upstream dam, was the work of Henri Queuille, a politician who was several times President of the Board. The site has been awarded the "Blue Flag" and "Handiplage" labels. Numerous aquatic activities (sailing, water skiing, and outdoor activities, golf, children's games) are practiced there. Without forgetting fishing. Swimming is supervised in summer. The sailing school is open every day in July and August, it offers courses and equipment hire: optimist, canoe, windsurfing, catamaran, dinghy.
