Bakun surf school welcomes you for an exceptional surfing experience. Olivier, D.E., introduces you to the pleasures of surfing on the Basque coast and in Morocco during "surfcamp" stays (organized from November to April). Whichever formula you choose, you're sure to have a memorable vacation. Whether you're young or old, the Bakun surf school offers learning and improvement courses for all levels. You'll be able to learn to surf in specially adapted spots. With his minibus, Olivier will take you to the appropriate beaches in complete safety.

At H2O, you'll have a fun-filled introduction to one of the Basque country's most popular sports: surfing. Fred and Jean-Christophe, the 2 instructors who have been at the helm since 1996, will introduce you to the pleasures of riding the waves, the natural environment associated with surfing, and the magnificent seascapes, particularly during Stand Up Paddle outings. Supervised by qualified instructors, lessons are given on the beaches of Bidart, on waves that are not too powerful, but enough to learn on, allowing a risk-free initiation.

Take the whole year from the dock 10 of the minimum. An experienced skipper takes you to the sun at its zenith or in the evening to admire his sunset on the ocean. A 2-hour walk.

The indoor pool in winter is ideal for swimming laps, but in summer it is replaced by a lovely open-air pool. The spirit of the place is focused on leisure and relaxation, the pool is perfect for learning and the pleasures of swimming. You have a very pleasant lawn and a tiled floor. The outdoor swimming pool will delight the youngest with its paddling pool and its diving board. A new feature is the water garden, reserved for children from 3 to 5 years old, who will thus be introduced to the pleasures of swimming! A sunny break near Agen!

An island territory, Ré attracts swimmers and surfers alike. If you love the sport or would like to discover it, come and visit our surf school, the only one to be accredited by the French Surfing Federation! Everyone is welcome, from amateurs to seasoned surfers. 2 sites: one on the Gros Jonc beach and the other on the Lizay beach offer excellent surfing conditions. You can opt for private lessons or a course to learn how to straighten up, learn safety rules and catch waves.

This association offers everyone the chance to discover the joys of sailing at one of its 3 nautical bases: La Flotte, close to the village, Rivedoux, on the south beach, and Saint-Martin, on the Plage de la Cible. Hundreds of sailors (aged 5 and over) take advantage of this unique venue for free sailing. Surfboards, paddleboards and catamarans are available for hire, so all you have to do is get on board! Certified as a "French Sailing School", the club offers a wide range of modern equipment.

After a recent fire, this family-run club has appealed for donations to keep it going. Open from March onwards, it is frequented by all water sports enthusiasts. It has the advantage of being sheltered by the island of Oleron, and is open to all, from children making their first discovery of the marine environment, to experienced adults perfecting their skills, on a wide range of equipment: catamaran, windsurf, paddle, kayak...

In the commune of La Tremblade, the Centre Nautique Charline Picon offers a unique sailing experience. With a vast, sheltered stretch of water facing the Ile d'Oléron, visitors can enjoy sailing in complete safety, whatever their level. The center offers courses, private lessons and rentals of Optimist, catamaran, windsurf, stand-up paddle, kayak and WingFoil. Port-des-Barques is a charming town on the Charente coast. For water sports enthusiasts, the Club Nautique des Fontaines de Port-des-Barques offers sailing activities. The town also offers a variety of associations for leisure and cultural activities. Sports enthusiasts can join the Entente Sportive Port Barquaise for soccer, the Association Bouliste "Les Crabes" for pétanque, or the Tennis Club Moëze Port des Barques. Nautilclub is a sailing and boat rental school on the Biscarrosse-Parentis lake. Catamaran, funbord, dinghy, paddle, pedalo, kayak... With family or friends, discover this large natural lake covering 3,500 hectares. The lake water is soft, shallow and sandy. Quick to warm up, it's ideal for learning to windsurf. Whether you're looking for an introductory session, a group session or a private lesson, Nautilclub is for everyone who wants to try their hand at windsurfing. The nautical center of Soeix extends over several hectares and proposes to all the sportsmen, amateurs or confirmed, of many activities of white water: the rafting, the canoe hot-dog or the hydrospeed, in the day, in weekend or in week. With more than 200 kilometers of navigable rivers around Oloron, the team of the nautical center assures you sliding outings full of adventures and this, from the discovery to the descent. The latter are done on the gaves of Aspe, Ossau, Saison and Oloron within a radius of 50 km. On the site, there is a base at the water's edge with parking, a picnic area and a comfortable changing room with hot shower. A great sporting idea!

The Vézère Monédières nature sports resort was created in 1998 with the aim of organising the world canoe and kayak championships in Treignac in 2000. The association has remained and the offer has grown to offer today a wide range of outdoor activities all year round. Canoeing of course, but also snowshoeing, Nordic walking, swin golf, geocaching, trail, tree-courses, gourmet hikes, stand up paddle, paragliding, ULM, mountain biking and even crayfish fishing! There's also a waterslide for younger children, under the watchful eye of lifeguards. For the little ones, the paddling pool is ideal for splashing about. To complete the picture, there's a relaxation area with greenery, games and a terrace with a gazebo. A place to have fun with family and friends!

Rent your own boat and cruise freely on the invigorating waters of one of the two rivers winding through the heart of Périgord Noir: the Dordogne and the Vézère. Take on the role of a "gabarier" and enjoy the incomparable beauty of the landscape, punctuated by cliffs, castles, beaches and villages. Choose your point of departure, the length of your trip and the finish line, between Siorac-Cénac and Limeuil... And off you go! This small, family-run business even offers routes ranging from a few hours to 7 days, for a vacation with a change of scenery!

Want to feel like a real pirate? Come and sail on the dreaded Magdeleine lake and become a captain like the famous Blackbeard. Small unsinkable electric boats with black flags guide you on the waves. They can accommodate three sailors and a captain. Little pirates over 9 years old can even pilot their own ship! Life jackets are of course provided on site. After the treasure hunt, the pirate tavern offers waffles, ice cream and hot or cold drinks.

Starting from the old Thouars abattoir, there are 2 routes: upstream to the chaussée du Château (2.5 km); downstream to the Ursulines meadow (1.2 km). Sailing on the wild, lush Thouet river offers a different view of the Deux-Sèvres, a blend of nature and heritage. A visit to the Château des Ducs de la Trémoïlle is a must! Canoes, kayaks, paddles and pedal boats are available for hire, solo or with the family. Jackets, paddles and watertight canisters are supplied. Please note that boat reservations are mandatory. Mr. Colomy, owner of Aventure Plein Air in St Léon, also has a fine canoe base in the village of Montignac, not far from the Lascaux caves. With 3 routes of varying length, from 8 to 20 km, the 7 rives offer the chance to discover several emblematic Périgord Noir villages, Thonac, Saint-Léon and Tursac (and their castles perched on the banks), along the Vézère. Accessible to all, they can be enjoyed solo, in a group or as a family, provided you know how to swim.

Between town and ocean, the Vieux-Boucau marine lake is one of the resort's main attractions. Fed by the ocean according to the tides, you can swim, canoe or paddle around its islet. Enjoy the pleasant 4.7 km-long promenade, easily accessible on foot or by bike, from Vieux-Boucau town center or from the Soustons Plage parking lot. A fun trail to discover the marine lake has also recently been laid out.

Espelette is a town in the Basque Country, between Bidarray and Itxassou, known for its outdoor activities. The boat excursion agency Nature et Rivière offers a range of activities to help you make the most of the surrounding countryside. Fabien, a qualified river guide, organizes customized river descents in canoe, raft or kayak, according to participants' expectations and abilities. It's also possible to practice discovery canyoning, without ropes, playing with natural slides, jumps and swimming in pools of translucent water. This surfing institution offers a wide range of family-friendly activities in the form of Surf Camp Family, with accommodation. The program includes Surf Camp Kids and Teens for ages 9 to 14, and Surf and Golf for adults. From simple private lessons to seminar organization, on the 4 sites of the Basque Country, in Guéthary and Bidart with former French champion Christophe Reinhardt, but also in Biarritz and Hendaye. Equipment (wetsuits and surfboards) is available.

For paddling enthusiasts, experienced sportsmen and quiet explorers, this is the ideal club. Rentals are available by the hour, by the day or for two- to four-day trips/bivouacs. The usual boating area stretches from the base to the Saint-Yrieix lake, a 4 km stretch of waterways where you can discover the flora and fauna of the Charente and Trouve rivers. Last but not least, you can try your hand at stand-up paddling and discover the banks of the river like a tightrope walker. Initiations are supervised by federal instructors.

In the heart of the 30-hectare Complexe d'Entraînement Sportif International de Hagetmau, you'll find an indoor Olympic-size swimming pool, a play area (whirlpool and hydromassage benches), and a large slide. Swimmers can reserve their line on the website. Other activities on offer: fitness, aquagym classes, swimming lessons, workshops for aquaphobics... At La Cité verte, you can enjoy a wide range of sports, including rugby, soccer, handball, basketball, gymnastics, athletics, golf, tennis...

The Gâtinéo aquatic center includes four pools, adapted to everyone's activities: the sports pool, the leisure pool, the paddling pool and the giant slide's reception pool. From prenatal gymnastics to various aquagym techniques and swimming lessons, Gâtinéo offers a dozen aquatic activities. These activities are practiced under the responsibility of the lifeguards of the Community of Communes of Parthenay Gatine. Adapted to each public, many beaches are available around the pools.

This itinerant surf school - open from April to December - welcomes all those who want to enjoy surfing. Welcoming children from 6 years old, Surf'in Ré offers both to discover this sport, but also to improve by benefiting from personalized advice. Antoine, Johan and Nicolas are real enthusiasts who will share their experiences with you with the use of adapted boards and suits. Several options are available with private or group lessons and two surfing areas are available: the northern and southern beaches of Ile de Ré. The advantage is to be able to enjoy the best spot of the day to fully enjoy the moment! They will pick you up with their truck, in very small groups, and you will spend the afternoon together combining theory and practice.

Direction North beach, at the end of the boulevard, to meet Romain Lhoste and Adrien Valéroque, two young dynamic and attentive Canaulais, who run this surf school. Very educational and always concerned about safety, they offer surfing lessons for young and old, stand up paddle, or even sailing on the beach of Moutchic, in the small family hut Chamoulou of Antoine Chamoux. Canoe trips from the Ur Ondoa rental base offer the ideal experience for families and groups, in complete safety (life jackets are compulsory). The routes are accessible to all, provided you can swim. The hour-and-a-half ride takes place on the most peaceful part of the Nivelle, while thrill-seekers can opt for the hour-and-a-half to two-hour descent to the Roman bridge at Ascain.

Lac d'Arjuzanx is home to a leisure center offering a wide range of outdoor and relaxation activities. Hiking, sports activities, orienteering... On the lake side, with its fine sandy beach, swimming is supervised in summer. And what else? Water sports and sailing lessons given by state-certified instructors. You can also hire a pedalo, canoe, paddle or catamaran for exploring.

Baltxan is the name of this extremely reliable boat, perfectly maintained and particularly suited to inshore and offshore fishing. Hake, sea bream, mackerel, bonito and chipirons are all brought in, depending on the season, by amateurs and experienced fishermen alike. Our captain is also a lifeguard.

Come aboard the Tximista with your family or friends (2 people or more) and captain Nico, for a combined aperitif and sunset cruise from Txingudi Bay in Hendaye. You'll discover the Basque coastline, the splendid Château d'Abbadia, and the "2 twins" of Hendaye Bay, in a convivial, original and privileged way, with the sharp commentary of our long-distance captain. At the Cheeky Family, surfing is above all a question of passion. Located on the south beach, the school, supervised by Dimitri, a Canulais for 25 years and surfing instructor for 15 years, offers lessons for all levels and all ages. The coaching and learning are done in the water, with the instructor always at your side. Here, there are no fixed hours for the lessons, everything is done according to the tide times, the ocean conditions, and the level of each person. On Lake Sames, 30 km east of Bayonne, you will find on this 13-hectare lake, a 220-metre cable at the end of which is attached a rudder, a wetsuit, a helmet, a wakeboard... The water ski lift is an ideal aquatic activity for water sports enthusiasts! Unique sensations guaranteed! While the body is slowly being pulled, the board gently takes its place on the water. Closed since 2014, the Galin swimming pool has (finally) found its swimmers and splashers! The cabins have been replaced, the pool linings changed, the facades reworked, the exterior concrete treated and the roof refurbished... The Galin pool, which has been awarded the " Remarkable contemporary architecture of the ^20th century" label, boasts a number of new features designed to enhance user comfort, including the creation of a planted outdoor deck, water games for children, a 50 m² paddling pool and a fitness room.

Completely renovated in 2007, this swimming pool is located in the Grand Parc-Chartrons-Paul Doumer district. It has been designed to comply with HQE (High Environmental Quality) standards, in the choice of materials used for its implementation and in terms of energy and water management. The pool water is heated by solar panels on the roof and treated by an ultraviolet system that dechlorinates it. A forecourt was created following the demolition of its main façade. The first swimming pool in the region to be equipped with a surveillance assistance system to prevent drowning, it is equipped with cameras that monitor the behaviour of swimmers, a 25-metre pool with 8 lanes, a learning pool with a counter-current river and a paddling pool with a playground. The outside area is a green area for sunbathing and sunbathing. Please note that during the short school holidays, the schedules are different. The swimming pool has the Tourism and Handicap label.

A story that begins in 1994... The Hossegor Surf Club aims to promote surfing among young people from 3 years! Under the direction of qualified and passionate instructors, surfers learn efficiently the joys of surfing. Training course, individual or group lessons from 1h30 to 2h, equipment rental... All year long, the school will accompany you on the most beautiful beaches of the Landes, notably in magical spots such as the Central beach, the North beach (historical site of the club) and the White Beach of the Lake where the Stand Up Paddle hut is located.

A cool, sporty address offering a wide range of family activities around its lake. Playgrounds, fitness trails, picnics, fishing and mountain bike trails are available all year round. In season, you can hire canoes, kayaks, paddles, pedal boats, mountain bikes, tree climbing, inflatables and archery. Climbing is also available in Aigonnay and Thorigné, at the former Cinq Coux quarry (15 min. by bike).

From April to September, the La Roche-Posay Tourist Office offers nature sports outings to discover the Anglin or Gartempe valleys. A minibus will take you to a place called "Rives" for a 10 km descent accompanied by a qualified guide. Would you like to sail on your own? Opt for the free canoe trips between Vicq-sur-Gartempe and La Roche-Posay (10 km). Another option is an accompanied introduction to stand-up paddling on the Creuse River, with a 5 km course. Meeting point at La Cale in La Roche-Posay.

Canoe and kayak rental, but also stand up paddles and pedal boats. The club offers walks and circuits from 30 minutes to 3 hours on the water for the more adventurous.
