The Comité Départemental de Spéléologie des Deux-Sèvres (CDS 79) is an association of caving clubs in the Deux-Sèvres département. It represents two caving clubs, the Spit Club St Maixentais in St-Maixent-l'école and the Société Archéologique et Spéléologique du Mellois (SASM) in Melle. The CDS 79's main missions are to protect cave-dwelling fauna and the underground environment, coordinate speleologists in their exploration and clearing of caves in the département, conduct scientific research, promote and teach caving, and organize the Journées Nationales de la Spéléologie (National Caving Days) in the département.

Situated on the intermediate plateau a stone's throw from the Nahuques animal park, Mont-de-Marsan's Street Park is divided into two parts: a 1,000 m² concrete skate area suitable for skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, scooters and BMX, and a dirt BMX track suitable for all levels. The site is accessible to all, regardless of age or level, to enable a wide audience to enjoy themselves. You can also take advantage of the on-site picnic area to spend the whole day. In the heart of the forest of Marensin, tour of Moulin de Bianou is a pleasant walk of seven kilometres. Allow two hours walk, or 45 minutes by bike. At the beginning of the village hall Linxe, tour alternates bare meadows and pine forests, along the river Bianou. It allows you to observe the airials and large estate of the town, described as "castles", typical of the Region.

This golf course is located near La Rochelle, in a pleasant setting in the heart of the leisure center of La Jarne. Fans of the little round ball will be delighted to take a charming road that winds near the castle of Buzay. In this beautiful farm, you will practice your favorite sport on a 9-hole eco-responsible course that extends over 5,157 meters. In June 2022, an 18-hole compact course (the^1st in France) was inaugurated! The golf course has a quality restaurant, the Bistro, which offers traditional and creative cuisine.

The first step of the journey is to take up to 50 minutes, before meeting the first information panels. Famous for its pepper production, Espelette also boasts a rich pastoral heritage. The farm trail invites you to explore this tradition over a 4 km loop on the Escondray plateau. The starting point is in Haranea, where you'll pass through a fern forest. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire meadows and farms, and perhaps even come across some of the Basque country's most emblematic animals.

From the Bonaguil commune, this 9,3 km loop can be done on foot (3 h) or Mountain bike (about 1 h). It takes you to the Découverte Castle, classified as the Main Site of Aquitaine, and the GR 36 which links the ancient Périgord and Quercy provinces. It is by climbing to the castle that the trail begins, offering the possibility of a break to visit it before filling in the woods. The rest of the circuit is mostly located in the forest, with beautiful views of the Thèze valley and the castle. You will meet on the road several pigeonholes that deserve a stop.
