This journey starts at the parking station of Eyrein and does not have a great difficulty. For the historical part, the hamlet of the Fields of Brach was the theatre, on 3 June 1944, of a violent ambush on a battle; since 2011, a memorial stele pays tribute to the men who lost their lives.
