What's the link between a bug and a brewery? A passion: for animals and for the art of brewing beer. Passionate, the owner and brewer knows her stuff. You can enjoy a fruity beer of between 3 and 8% alcohol in the tape room (bar area), with a direct view of the vats. You can also take away some pretty labeled cans (with animals on them, of course). Opened in 2019, Frédéric's brewery offers artisanal beers with authentic flavors, made with know-how and from natural elements only. Unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented beers in bottles, without additives or preservatives. Frédéric imagines authentic creations, without forgetting tradition, through a dozen beers with sunny names and graphics: white, light and full-bodied blonde, amber, different IPAs (double IPA, NEIPA...), brown, winter beer.

In this artisanal brewery we make the "triple": a beer of triple fermentation. Several steps in the manufacturing process: crushing, mashing, filtration, cooking with hops, fermentation, bottling, storage in a warm room. Several varieties of beer in a range of 8: blonde, white, triple flash, cherry beer, red, brown. Possibility of visiting the brewery and ending with a small tasting before leaving with your little boxes. Do you know what "cabaude" means? The bottom of the port.

There are places where you just want to come and come again! Let's head for La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, in the "Erdre active" business park, where this beautiful building with its black "Philmore" frontage is home to several businesses! We're at a craft brewer's, where Bérenger and Médina give us a warm welcome! Here, you can observe the production process before tasting the delicious Philmore organic beers! Enjoy blondes such as Jazz, citrus Britpop, Ambrée Cumbia, Blanche Klezmer, Afrobeat ginger hibiscus, or Brune Blues! Beers with a nod to music, like the regular concerts that take place here! Seasonal beers too, with blond Punk, fruity blackcurrant Soul, amber and thyme New Orleans, Celtic, Raga, IPA, Reggae and Christmas beers. The venue, which is also a beer bar, is also a great place for entertainment, with themed evenings (sports broadcasts, board games, karaoke) and concerts! What's more, Philmore also offers beers from brewer UMAMI, with Thibaut's unique creations and refined tastes using a "pre-fermentation" method for some of the ingredients in his beers. Tasting available! Last but not least, Thibault is also a chef: "beer pairing" dishes are planned for the near future. Come and see for yourself!

Beers made according to the traditional method: neither pasteurized nor filtered and following a long fermentation and maturation process, favouring their aromatic richness. Several ranges: the Cibulle Originale, a gourmet beer with biscuit and fruit notes; the American Amber (amber, with toasted notes), the Abbaye de Nieul-sur-L'Autise is a light blonde with fruity aromas, the one called Abbaye de Maillezais is a triple with fruity aromas made in the great tradition of abbey beers. This young microbrewery obtained, shortly after its creation, a nice recognition, with a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole for its Stout beer! Its philosophy: to limit its impact on the environment, while regularly offering new recipes. All the beers, born from a demanding selection of organic malts and hops associated with the mastery of the latest brewing techniques, are packaged in returnable bottles. Hoppy, sour or roasted, a range of beers that will delight all tastes! And an enriching visit!

In the heart of the Docks de Chantenay, discover LAB, a place created from the historic building of a former oil mill (1852). Stone and brick walls lined with bay windows reveal a wood and metal structure. Breathtaking views over the Loire and Trentemoult! This bar-restaurant is also a superb brasserie, where you can feast your eyes on the vats of beer produced on site.
