Domaine du Pont de Livier is a winegrowing estate located in Saint Georges sur Layon, Maine-et-Loire. It offers guest rooms with private bathroom and toilet, as well as an independent entrance and parking in the estate courtyard. The rooms are recent and offer good bedding. The owners, Flore and Emmanuel Rialland, are also winegrowers, and offer tastings and purchases of their wines. The table d'hôtes is available on reservation, with a minimum of 4 people. The estate can also be privatized for groups. The owners will be happy to advise visitors on places to visit in the area. The estate also offers activities such as wine tasting, hiking and cycling. Free wifi and parking are available on site.

In Parnay, Philippe and Agnès Porché open the doors of their certified organic estate to let you discover their winemaking know-how. Here, they honor the wines whose names are reminiscent of the court of the ancient nobility: the Troubadour, the Page, the Fou, the Jouvencelle... Meticulous wine-making allows them to offer beautiful and tasty white, rosé and red wines and delicate bubbles! The famous "Clos d'entre les Murs" contains walls with holes through which the vines gain access to the sun in order to get the necessary calories for its ripening. One can taste and buy the wines produced here, from a wonderful variety of saumur-champigny, the Clos du Château, which will delight the amateurs of notes of liquorice, to the very famous dry white wine the Clos d'entre les Murs, of a great richness, which presents a very fruity and slightly wooded nose. The Filliatreau family plays a leading role in the production of red wines from the Saumur region. The wine-growing tradition is well rooted in the history of the Château de Montreuil-Bellay vineyard. Edmond Guillet founded the Kerisac cider factory in 1920. It has been a family business for four generations. The spirit of the company is to preserve the traditional aspect of cider while rejuvenating the tastes. The Guillet brothers are among the pioneers of the cider revival in Brittany. Here they produce IGP Bretagne ciders (regularly awarded at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris), brut, demi-sec and sweet ciders. Among the house's must-haves, you will find "Le Kerisac de glace", a fruity and refined sweet aperitif, or the rosé cider.

The Domaine des Granges is part of the Union des Fiefs vendéens. Christian and Delphine welcome you to the winery, a few dozen meters from the beach of Granges, after the district of La Gachère, to discover their Vendean wine land marked by the sweetness of the ocean. They elaborate their production with care and according to artisanal methods to offer quality products and are in full conversion to organic farming. They produce white, rosé and red wines, sparkling wines using traditional methods and also grape juice.

In the cellar, you'll find carefully selected skittles at all prices and to suit all tastes. At the bar, too, Cédric will be delighted to advise you. To accompany your nectar, you won't want to miss a delicious platter of charcuterie or cheese, all from the Saumur region, of course. The emphasis here is on simplicity and conviviality. Château d'Épiré is one of the oldest estates in the Savennières appellation. The estate has been handed down from father to son since 1882, and today the fifth generation of the Bizard family looks after 11 hectares of hillsides overlooking the Loire, 9 of which are dedicated to the Savennières AOC. The three parcels located around the property produce three different vintages. A guided tour of the cellars will allow you to discover the secrets of the wine making process. It is also possible to discover the vineyard (1h30 guided tour) and its sublime panorama.

Amélie Neau continues the name and production of this magnificent family estate. The wines produced perfectly represent the typicality of the saumur and champigny appellations: supple and richly aromatic, they are the result of rigorous work in organic farming conversion. Regular in its balance and delicate tannins, Le Clos des Châtains is unanimously acclaimed every year. The 3-colour Les Loups cuvées are the quintessence of the estate and Amélie still has vast projects.

Marie-Françoise Ratron and her team manage this beautiful, rich vineyard nestled between forest, hillside and tufa rock. It is from the latter that the estate's exclusive Cabernet Franc grapes derive all their minerality. Some of the vines are over 50 years old and have been passed down through four generations. The Ratron family's production is in conversion to organic farming, with manual harvesting, all on terroirs typical of the appellation, without chemical fertilizers or industrial yeasts or enzymes.

V & B or Wines and Beers (pronounce VI and BI). More than 80 stores spread across the national territory for this award created by two enthusiasts and whose mission is summarized as follows: " raise beer and democratize wine ". At V & B, you will find a wide selection of French and international wines (Spanish, Italian, South African or Argentine), champagnes, beer, again, you can go around the world, many whiskies, rums or spirits. The shops, in addition to the shop area, have a bar space to taste or test what you've already bought or what you want to taste before you can shave.

A historical place where wines and products from the Loire Valley are honored. Vino Valley and its 250 or so products, exclusively from the Loire Valley, have set up shop in a former wine-making cellar, preserving the rails that were used to transport bottles and barrels. To help you make up your mind, the team will have you taste the star bottles at the bar, and you will be able to accompany them with a delicious wine list. What's the link between a bug and a brewery? A passion: for animals and for the art of brewing beer. Passionate, the owner and brewer knows her stuff. You can enjoy a fruity beer of between 3 and 8% alcohol in the tape room (bar area), with a direct view of the vats. You can also take away some pretty labeled cans (with animals on them, of course). A new wine shop has opened in Nantes, with a name that's nothing short of muscular: Bras de Fer! Run by 3 partners, all wine experts or oenologists, their cellar is all about quantity, but above all, quality. 95% natural wines to taste on the premises or to take away. They also produce their own wine: the grapes are harvested in the vineyards of Nantes and Anjou, and then vinified by their partner l'Agronaute. The dining room is also very pleasant, with its mezzanine and great outdoor courtyard, ideal for a stroll in summer. And let's not forget their great program (concerts, exhibitions, DJ sets) and local produce, such as Painbar bread and Vendeen ham. A real treat!

The house's crémants de Loire and saumurs bruts sparkle in the mouth, it's gaiety itself! So why the term "widow"?
