Girls feel good and boys too. It's not great, it's fast, and since it's nice, it's easy to talk to each other while sipping a new York cocktail - Sea Breeze, Cosmopolitain… - or a panther milk, home specialty - secret recipe. The DJ stands at the end of the bar to move the music as varied as possible, without ever being assourdissante. Here we have a few very good evenings.

A real Irish pub located a few steps away from the neighborhood's cinemas, Murphy's House is suitable for aperitif time with colleagues or for a drink later in the evening. The beer list is very complete. The establishment also offers salads, tapas and burgers for those who appreciate the pub atmosphere but not necessarily the foam! Murphy's also serves dishes (pork rib's, ham and truffle shells, tartar...). A tip: try the cocktail of the day, always fresh and accompanied by a fresh fruit skewer.

Le Faust, under the Alexandre III bridge, on the banks of the Seine with the Grand Palais and the Eiffel Tower on the horizon, is one of Paris's must-visit establishments. Just a stone's throw from Place Gambetta and in the immediate vicinity of Père-Lachaise, the Kahwehgi Coffee House is the ideal place for a coffee break, or even a snack and aperitif after a stroll through the tree-lined alleys of the capital's most famous cemetery. The establishment, as its name suggests, is in fact a pretty place where you can enjoy good Pfaff coffees, best roaster in France ten years ago, a café macchiato, a viennois, a tchai latte and many other pleasant beverages.

Having an aperitif in the middle of an artist's studio is what L'Impasse, which opened very recently, is all about. This kind of alternative place, so popular in Berlin and London, is the latest spot in the neighborhood. In this former factory turned loft, you'll settle in under a large glass roof. In small, vintage, salvaged-furnished lounges, you drink fine wines and beers accompanied by charcuterie and cheese boards, salads and bagels. The white walls feature works created in situ.

If the name doesn't inspire you, we'd like to add that to get in, you'd better wear a thick cardigan, a scarf, and a beanie. The Kube Hôtel is unique in that it houses a contemporary, conceptual, and atypical design bar. With a stunning decor combining light projections, frosted floors, blocks of ice, and attractive furniture, the Ice bar offers you the chance to taste cocktails based on Finlandia vodka, all at a temperature of -20°C. The venue also boasts a dancefloor and a cosy lounge area adjoining the ice bar!

For those who've had enough of the rue de Charonne and its surroundings, the Piston Pélican is a bar with a good-natured atmosphere. The name comes from a theater troupe that once loved the place. On the drinks front, you'll find everything you need to quench your thirst, including the Carthusian fathers' artisanal gentian, wines, beers... And to wash it all down: falafel, rice and vegetable bowls, authentic Fish & Chips, baked Mont-d'Or, planks... As for the music: songs, gypsy jazz, rock, electro and regular concerts.

Unfortunately, this sumptuous cocktail bar doesn't give anyone a chance to get in. It's best to come dressed appropriately, and well accompanied. But if you do manage to get in, you'll fall in love with the moldings, statues, and antique furniture of this iconic venue. Of course, the programme is highly specialised, with artistic performances, concerts, and DJ sets to entertain the trendy clientele. As you can see, you come here, and there's a small chance you'll get in if you show your - very - credentials.

A unique concept in Paris. And with good reason: while you're having a drink with friends, you're a trader. Explanation: depending on the orders placed, drink prices change every 100 seconds. Players can bet on the evolution of prices, but be warned: this is a playful mode, and you're obviously not here to make huge savings. As for the rest, the urban setting and the sheer number of people who come here give the place a festive, sometimes rather overexcited atmosphere, making it a Pigalle mecca.

Another perfect example of a place to party in the north-east of Paris: the 9B is a "dining bar and a dance cellar" that lives at all hours, all year round. Its sign shines brightly in the dark Rue Delambre, like an invitation to stop in. Jazz fans who push open the door will feel right at home in this warm, woody little bar. There's nothing special about the slightly smoky atmosphere, like a little something extra, perhaps due to the music and the posters of jazzmen that adorn the walls, with Coltrane and Davis in the lead, or to the discreet patronage of Paul Auster. Gainsbourg and Brel will also be keeping an eye on you in this beautiful atmosphere.

It's one of the new spots on the Parisian cocktail scene, in a neighborhood that until now hasn't been the best for cocktails. The name? Candid! Unique, the place has been imagined as a throwback to the 1960s, to the so-called " Space Age ", i.e. the period of the conquest of space - we won't tell you more! The cocktails on offer range from classics to original creations, with or without alcohol, and include a snack bar and cocktail bar. Festive atmosphere guaranteed: we love it!

The bar at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris becomes the Bar Botaniste. A name that smells of nature... The idea was born in the mind of head bartender Arnaud Thirel, who wanted to pay tribute to Prince Roland Bonaparte, less well known to the general public than his illustrious relative, but who in his time created the world's largest private herbarium with 2,500,000 specimens. The à la carte menu features some fifteen astonishing cocktails, including vermouth, génépi, absinthe and the famous chartreuse. There are also some twenty gins and nine tonics.

Situated on the edge of a charming square in the pedestrian center, a stone's throw from the Marne river, this bar and beer cellar is as much an opportunity to enjoy a convivial moment with friends as it is a place to rediscover beer, thanks in particular to its fine selections of craft beers from the region and beyond. Open almost every evening, you can see (and drink) Arpus, bière de Meaux, bières du Saule, bière du Cap d'Ona, Polygon and Piggy Brewing's famous beers, accompanied by a few savoury snacks. A new brewery has set up shop on the banks of the Loing, offering a range of attractive local, artisanal beers. Production is concentrated on four cuvées: white, blonde, amber and Christmas beer. The organic production insists on respect for the terroir and artisanal methods, developing top-fermented, unfiltered and unpasteurized beers for maximum authenticity. The beers are then aged for six months in the cellar, to allow them to express their full aroma once on sale.

Nemours got off to a good start in 2024 with the opening of Zig-Zag. After more than 100 years without a brewery, the town needed a friendly place to meet after 7pm! This is the latest incarnation of the Artichef team, which not only offers excellent dining, but also makes a point of imagining atypical places. Mission accomplished for Tonton Becton, stuck in the 1970s. Mind you, only the premises are decorated in the style of that decade, because as far as the plates are concerned, the menu changes every two weeks, with products from small producers cooked just right. The place has a bar, a terrace and even a hidden space!

BPM stands for Bar Pub Melun, and guess where? On one of Melun's iconic barges, located on the Quai de Seine, Place Praslin. A passionate barrista, Laura ran a mobile café in the Château de Fontainebleau for 3 years before settling here. She makes her own compositions of teas to buy or taste on the spot. At every time of year, a gourmet and original selection is offered. As for the cuisine, the menu changes daily, with healthy, gourmet dishes. And on Sundays, we recommend brunch!

The brand operates several locations in the capital, and the one in Wagram, which the Petit Futé team visited, won us over! As well as a great restaurant, the place is a bar with an industrial decor, offering not only classics but also a large number of cocktails made on the premises according to the rules of the art. Located just a few hundred meters from the Champs-Elysées, it also has the good taste of not being besieged by tourists!

An institution, which does not change and which does so much good: to those who do not know it, the Tagada Bar is worth at least a visit, and much more! This small, colourful place, run (perhaps we should say animated) by Jean-Mi and Max, is a small nugget of warmth and friendliness. People come to drink a glass (special mention to the drinks concocted on the spot, and to the selection of small wines from producers), and many also revel in some nice plates with friends, tapas or nice snacks that are also tasty. The recognizable red front is just waiting for you, and the terrace, on sunny days, is a must-see in the south of the hill!

Here is a pretty art and ceramics gallery at the foot of the castle, installed in an old village house recently rehabilitated. In addition to organizing exhibitions, the place, atypical and friendly, is also a nice tea room. One comes to enjoy teas, coffees, cookies and other pastries, all certified organic.
