At La fille du Joep, a small, fresh and iodized address, you can eat products directly from traditional oyster farmers who have been working for 50 years in the Thau Basin. You can order your platters of shellfish and fresh fish to take away, or taste them right across the street at the terrace of the bar Le Mistral. On the menu you can choose from oysters, mussels, snails, clams, sea urchins, shrimps, but also sea bream, sea bass, sole and mullet. Each product comes from the production and fishing of the owners.

L'Ecailler Gourmet is a French restaurant. It features a convivial counter and oyster bar, as well as fish à la plancha, seafood platters and homemade tapas. In the world of tielle, a delicious local specialty that is absolutely unmissable, there are Giulietta tielles. Made in the purest artisanal tradition, spiced just right, they can be bought on avenue Victor Hugo or in the Halles. For events, it is possible to order in large quantities. Also to be tasted: an eggplant pie sprinkled with parmesan, but also variations of tielles with mozzarella, cheese or anchovy pizzas. You can complete your gourmet basket with Azaïs Polito products and Zézettes de Sète.

Founded in 1963, this Sétoise cannery has now been awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label. Here, seafood is treated with experience and respect. A true institution between terroir and gastronomy: fish soups, octopus rouille and marinades, mussels, stuffed squid, brandades... The Collège Culinaire de France has even recognized it as a "Producteur Artisan De Qualité". You can also come and visit the company and taste its tasty products!

Since their installation at the entrance of the city in 1978, the Gigliano and Cours families have been selling their own productions of Bouzigues oysters and mussels from the open sea or the pond. They are of an unequalled freshness and quality. In the fish tank, you can also find scallops, violets, almonds, tellins, whelks, cockles and other clams of very first choice. Lobsters, shrimps and lobsters in season complete the display. But the other interest is its tasting corner. You can also buy a nice seafood platter to take away.

Karine and Yvan Caussel, settled in the shellfish farm complex of Mourre Blanc, offer different formulas: a package including the visit of their shellfish farm followed by the meal, the sale at the farm and on line, conferences, seminars as well as a camping-cars space. For individuals, tasting-restauration of raw and gratinated shellfish, at noon from April^1st to October 31st. What a treat, with a superb view of the Thau lagoon!
