Installed since summer 2020 on the city tour of Cajarc, Lot & Bike offers you the rental of electrically assisted bicycles (VAE), mountain bikes AE, VTC AE, VTC, children's bicycles, tandems... In a few pedal strokes, the nature and the heritage of the Lot are offered to you... Between the Causse and the valley, between the Lot and the Célé, it's up to you to choose! The Tourist Office and the association Torreilles Vivre le sport have created routes to discover the village and its surroundings. Wild coastline, typical streets of Old Torreilles and highlights of its cultural heritage: Naturavélo offers three circuits of 9 km, 14 km or 20 km, considered easy and ideal for family walks. You can reach Le Barcarès, Sainte-Marie, Rivesaltes and even Perpignan. You will discover raw landscapes with the Catalan Pyrenees and the mythical Canigó as a backdrop.

Created in 1994 as part of the French Cycling Federation (FFCT), Cyclo Club Mendois aims to promote cycling tourism. Outings are organized on Lozère roads on Saturday afternoons and weekdays (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). The club also offers a number of pleasant rides. The club was behind the creation of the Lozère tour, which covers 600 km and 9,600 m of ascent in 6 stages. Its website features a map library of itineraries to discover the Causse Méjean, Sauveterre, Mont Lozère, Charpal...

Velocity claims mobility with ease. It was born out of the Velorution movement in the fall of 2005, at a time when some motorists thought it wasn't good enough to ride a bike. Montpellier has thus joined the club of "velorutionary" cities. Velorutions are cycling events with a festive characteristics. The aim is to promote cycling, to gather and defend bicycle users, to improve the safety of cyclists and to live in more humane, more breathable cities. The association promotes citizen and ecological action. The veloruptions are held monthly, normally on the first Saturday of the month, departing from Place de la Comedy for a short bike ride, but also on a unicycle, roller skates, in tow (drawn by a bicycle)... Vélocity seeks to make cycling known through this movement, while enjoying a car-free city island in a friendly atmosphere.

Whether you're an experienced motorcycle enthusiast or an amateur, the truth is well known in the Cévennes, particularly in the Aigoual massif: mountain biking is king, especially in Valleraugue where "Base VTT Explosion" is located. For the past 15 years, this base has offered packages to suit all levels, whether you're a beginner, amateur or professional. Services include à la carte rentals, topo-guides, technical and logistical assistance, downhill formulas and raid organization.

The aim of this association is to help people discover Aveyron by bike. It's a great idea for organizing pleasant rides and exploring unique landscapes. All dates and events are announced on the website, which is regularly updated and maintained by the members of this dynamic committee. It's a real mine of information for cycling enthusiasts, or for those wishing to take up the sport in a suitable environment.

On foot or by bike, you will ride along the Rhône on a sandy track without too much of a difference in altitude, as far as the abbey of Saint-Roman. It is already planned that in a few years' time, this Green Way will be extended to the Pont du Gard; it will then measure 18 kilometres, this cycle route linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. But don't worry, this will give you time to improve your skills!

This greenway follows the path of the old railway line that once linked Carmaux to the Découverte mine. Today, the rails have given way to a pleasant shady walk and the mine to a rather complete leisure centre. With 35 kilometres of free cycle paths, it will allow you to continue your physical effort a little longer. The only drawback is that the surface is not ideal for rollerblades.

If this Véloroute starts in Saint-Cirq-Madelon, it ends exactly at the Écoute s'il Pleut lake, at the entrance of Gourdon. So don't expect to connect the two villages. If you are looking for a nice bike ride, on the other hand, this walk in Bouriane will satisfy you. Pleasant, its itinerary evolves on small roads that are safer than the average, so much so that it is almost like a Voie verte.

As its name suggests, this Véloroute runs along the beaches, and is only accessible by bike. Too bad for pedestrians, who will have to find another option. Built as part of a larger project that will later link Le Barcarès to Argelès-Plage, its 13 kilometers provide a pleasant opportunity for training between Le Barcarès and Canet-Plage. Made up of 70% Voie Verte, most of the track runs along the RD 81.

Fun Bike Center is first and foremost a bicycle shop. But to explore the paths of Vallespir, you can rent electric mountain bikes from Haibike, model 2018. The whole team of the shop is also there to guide you towards the trails and loops marked out according to your level. And in the area, there is no shortage of paths and trails and they will take you up to the border ridges at an altitude of over 1000 m. We welcome this initiative as it is the only mountain bike and VTAE rental shop in the Vallespir.

Helmet and anti-theft device are provided, breakdown assistance included. All the information and the different formulas are on their website. Le Petit Futé liked this innovative concept which democratizes the electric bicycle. The Mountain Bike-FFC Catalan Pyrenees area has more than 40 approved circuits on more than 690 km of tracks and trails... so get in the saddle!

In this store, which also serves as a repair shop, a team of enthusiasts awaits you. Pyrénées Vélo Évolution is dedicated to everything that concerns or is related to two-wheelers. Real pros in the field of road and mountain biking, they are perfect for maintenance, advice, good tips and even sales since you will find leading brands like Moustache, Trek, Gitane or Kona. They were pioneers in the rental of electric bikes in the resort, but you will also find VTC, FatBike, mountain bikes, city bikes...

Thierry's bike park is rather vast: 160 bikes for the big and small, the cool and the sporty. Ride along the greenways, down the slopes or through the pine forests, everything is possible with such a vast and eclectic range of bikes: mountain bikes, VTC, racing bikes and of course the famous Sunn electric bikes. You can rent them all year round (in winter by appointment). The prices are quite affordable and Thierry will give you plenty of advice on the routes. We recommend the rides along the pond or to the wild beaches north of Canet.

The club, which is a member of the French Cycling Federation, has around sixty members of all ages. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, training starts at the Béziers wine cooperative. The riders, supervised by a team of three Federation-certified instructors, cover distances of around one hundred kilometers. The VCCB, Vélo Club des Cheminots du Biterrois, takes part in all competitions in the south of France. There is no membership fee, just a license fee.

Road racing, cyclo-cross, mountain biking: the BMC supports all cycling disciplines. This particularly dynamic club has counted in its ranks some great names in cycling: Stéphane Barthe, professional French champion in road competition, Roger Mascaro and Emmanuelle Marevery, respectively French champion and member of the French team. The BMC organizes numerous competitions and travels for them throughout France.

Located between 1,700 and 2,215 meters above sea level, the Saint-Lary Mountain Bike Park, with its 10 marked trails, is one of the best places for downhill mountain biking in the Pyrenees. Thanks to the Bouleaux chairlift equipped with bike racks, access to the slopes is quick and easy. The trails, suitable for experts and beginners alike, offer a fun and friendly experience. Although the terrain is safe, we strongly recommend that you wear the correct equipment: helmets and gloves are mandatory. Children under 12 must be supervised.
