Christophe Bru left the Zebra Bleu to settle down at a few meters from Lattes area in the Fontvin area. And this is only the beginning, because it is followed by a delicious old-fashioned duck confit, lamb sweetbreads with morels, veal kidneys in old wine, to finish with a generous frozen truffle in a nougatine basket and orange juice. Everything is of course cooked with the greatest care! This is normal, since Jean-Luc Viala is part of the Cuisineries Gourmandes. The carte blanche to the chef is accompanied by a different glass of wine depending on the dishes. The products are purchased at local markets. The interior room has been completely renovated, in chocolate, modern colours, decorated with original paintings and frescoes by local artists, and the terrace under the chestnut trees is still very pleasant. Very good rating for the welcome and service.

At the entrance to Pierrefitte and just next to the tropical aquarium, this restaurant is well known to regular visitors who come in large numbers at noon, an opportunity for them to hear the latest news from the village and the surrounding area. The discussions are passionate and smell of the southwest. Here the cuisine is simple, well presented and made with local products. A wide choice is available. Homemade foie gras and local meats reign supreme if you want to make in the real land, the local lamb is always an effective formula! Depending on the products on the market, you can enjoy a beef carpaccio marinated in sheep's cheese, a delicious fisherman's papillote and as a delicacy we advise you to try a vanilla bourbon crème brûlée or a Bavarian with blueberries: real delights. The welcome is very friendly and ensures a beautiful atmosphere in an establishment whose spirit and menus we like: do not hesitate!

In their charming crèperie at the corner of the two streets, Diffal and his wife Faïza are proud to be Bretons from here! Zoé, a gray in Gabon, welcomes you with the nerve of all parrots, the accordion or the piano tickling your ears. In this street below the cathedral square you will find a map of crèpes and specialities from the Tarn. The red brick room is below. The complete galette (egg, fomage, mushroom, ham) or the cassoulet of the Reyssaguel farm are excellent. 

In the kitchens, Jerome Munoz, a young chef with an exuberant imagination prepares tasty and delicious dishes. Giving pride of place to fish, fresh products and refinement, the hotel can boast of an excellent carte worthy of great restaurants. The dishes speak for themselves and are charming: samosas in wood mushrooms, prawns blazed with Ballantine or salmon terrine with vegetables, basil chlorophyll, lettuce and sesame honey biscuit! There is nothing to add, the dishes of this young chef will charm you. Fans of seafood will be satisfied by a composed menu. It is an asset for a region that is far from the seaside! Finally, throughout the year, the hotel organizes free dinner-concerts.

It is not only in Brittany that creperies are excellent! Ker Maria, which means "Chez Marie" in Breton, is one of those addresses that makes us wonder if pancakes might not be a local specialty. Indeed, this pretty creperie in the city centre of Mauguio is a must in the Pays de l'Or. Marie and her daughters are dynamic, passionate and effective. We appreciate their presence, radiant as it should be! They sneak around the tables to take orders and serve great pancakes, waffles and salads. The plates are made from garden and seasonal products. Some desserts are also worth a look, such as strawberry tiramisu and garden cherry clafoutis, two delicacies. A gourmet pleasure to consume without moderation.

With its shaded terrace, the Right Corner is an essential place. Located in front of the town hall, this address has conquered its followers. Geraldine and Olivier are traditional cuisine served in the room or on the terrace. Each day they offer a wide choice of three starters, three dishes and three desserts. Some examples to put your water in your mouth: laminated salmon from small vegetables, roasted vegetable salad with Parmesan and crusts, compotée of warm stud with roquefort and raw ham. Among the dishes you can choose between a beef room, cuttlefish à or a chicken Colombo. Here, fruit and vegetables are purchased from local producers. The guarantee of quality!
