You cannot schedule a getaway in Pontarlier without stopping at Rue des Lavaux. The Cave des Vignerons de Mancey is a unique winery dedicated to the vines and wines of Burgundy, with a scenographic space and a huge range of 85 Burgundy appellations. The cellar showcases the work of some 50 winemakers, who produce small cuvées of chardonnay, pinot noir, aligoté and gamay, expressing the typicity of their terroirs. For gourmets, the "produits du terroir" area, where you'll also find a wide selection of wine accessories, offers the best of local traditions.

This relatively young cooperative, created in 1957, today brings together 55 winegrowers attached to the Jura terroir. Their vines are partly located in the Château-Chalon area... Their yellow wines, including this one, are a credit to this very well-received winery. But all the grape varieties and all the wines of the Jura are represented. We welcome you in new premises and we know how to advise you with talent. The philosophy of the site: "Great wines do not necessarily require complicated dishes". To be meditated on! The estate comprises 5.5 ha, 4 of which are planted with Chardonnay and Savagnin, including a parcel of Château-Chalon. Philippe Butin, who has run the estate since 1980, has just handed over the pruning shears to his son Kevin and Aloïs, both of whom are equally passionate about their work. The white Savagnin is matured in 228-litre barrels, and the yellow wines impress even the most demanding tasters. La Chablisienne is a cooperative with 300 members, including 200 winegrowers and 5 prestigious vineyards, representing 25% of the Chablis vineyards. Founded in 1923, La Chablisienne has won numerous awards and developed its range with finesse. So you can look forward to a wealth of discoveries. Also based in Vézelay, this cellar is a must. Concerned about the environment, Emmanuel and Nathalie have been managing the estate's 9.5 hectares of organic farming since 2018. Their demands continue during the harvest when time is no longer important, the right maturity of each parcel is expected for the picking of the grapes. The harvest is done by manual selection of the grapes where the eye has all its importance, then the vinification is subject to rigorous monitoring. The wines are made with the least possible inputs in order to preserve the raw material and the juices. There are also natural wines.

Maison André Delorme is an institution on the Saône-et-Loirien wine scene. Specializing in the great wines of the Côte Chalonnaise and, above all, Crémant de Bourgogne, this vast 116-hectare estate delicately showcases the terroirs of the Rully, Givry, Mercurey, Bouzeron and Montagny appellations. A large family business, born in 1898, specialized in sparkling wines. Its 250 ha of vineyards cover 6 different terroirs producing numerous crémants of Burgundy appellation as well as more prestigious crus: brut blanc de blanc, vintage, grande cuvée, organic. The guided or audio-guided tour reveals the workshops, cellars, robots and automatons. Since 2009, As du Vin has been providing all wine and spirits neophytes or enthusiasts with a home to welcome them. Their key word? Conviviality. The 2 Aces, François-Xavier and Nicolas, have more than 700 references of wines, crémants, champagnes, whiskies and beers in their independent store. In addition to a large choice of Burgundy wines, they also have bottles from a good selection of French domains (Loire, South-West...). Created by the Mercurey defense and management organization (ODG), Caveau Divin is the showcase for the Mercurey AOC, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. The cellar features 44 estates with one or two crus each, and 64 wines. It's possible to taste them all, thanks to the fact that the wines are kept in an oenomatic cellar, which allows the bottles to be kept open under nitrogen. The formula is simple: simply obtain a tasting card from reception, credit it with the amount of your choice, and make your selection from the wines available.

In 1957, it all began in a small village on the Hautes Côtes, in the hamlet of Orches, with 10 winegrowers. Today, it has 80 associate winegrowers working 350 ha of vines from Maranges to Marsannay on 1,472 plots. It is the only cooperative winery in the Côte-d'Or region to have earned the Vignerons Engagements label, selling 3 million bottles a year of sustainable, organic and eco-designed cuvées. 40 references, from regional appellations to grands crus and Crémants.

Located in Rully, the Maison Amelin has been putting traditional know-how and quality at the heart of its sparkling wine production for over 60 years. At the head of this family business, Géraldine produces 350,000 bottles per year: fine wines, crémants or sparkling wines in brut, rosé or even red! All of them are elaborated according to the traditional method that we are happy to discover during a tasting or a visit of the site. Practical: you can even extend your stay by taking advantage of the gîte installed above the winery.

For the past 35 years, this cooperative cellar of 9 winegrowers has been offering wines from the little-known Vézelay vineyards, which have been there since... Gallo-Roman times! Sales and tastings are on offer, as well as a very pleasant "Formule Vélo": on the handlebars of an electric two-wheeler, you can visit the vineyards and surrounding villages for two hours. This family estate (5 generations) covers 55 ha. Here, you'll discover great wines produced with respect for tradition, as well as a collection of corkscrews and antique tools in a beautiful museum. As for the many international awards received, let's note (among others) the Chablis 2020, Best Chardonnay in the World 2022. Or Petit Chablis 2022, Bronze Medal at the Japan Wine Challenge Tokyo in 2023. In the same year, Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume 2021 won a gold medal at the Concours des Grands Vins de France de Mâcon.

Virgile and Peggy Berthiot dreamed of one day brewing their own beer, a wish that has been fulfilled since the opening of their Trois Fontaines brewery 20 years ago. Indeed, the Mandubienne and the Téméraire, craft beers and 100% natural, are now known throughout Burgundy. Better still, the Mandubienne is 100% Côte d'Or! In this hamlet of Tonnerre, Emeline Rouyer welcomes you since she recently took over from her parents. Passionate farmers who created everything with their own hands, they planted their first vines in 1990 and harvested their first grapes in 1995. The vineyards of Tonnerre, destroyed by phylloxera, were reborn in the late 1970s with a strict selection of terroirs and the replanting of noble grape varieties. Following in her family's footsteps, Emeline skilfully combines modernity and tradition to produce surprising, feminine wines...

This four-generation family estate south of Chablis is run by Olivier and Isabelle Boussard, joined by their daughter Margot. The estate covers 23 ha of vines producing AOP Chablis, Petit Chablis, Bourgogne white, red, rosé and Crémant de Bourgogne. You'll receive a warm welcome in their renovated farmhouse. And you'll be able to taste their HVE-certified wines, each with its own unique character. Proof of the quality of their production is their Chablis 2022, awarded 2 stars in the Guide Hachette Des Vins 2024.

The domain is a charming address for its welcome and its simplicity. Cécile and her son work together on 21 hectares of land, respecting the environment - certified in organic farming - in order to further improve the quality of the grapes and the wines. The diversity of the terroirs is reflected in the wide range of their wines, which are quite exceptional. Wines from Vendanges Tardives and Sélections de Grains Nobles are also offered for tasting. Created in 1978 by Jean Jacquin, it is now Jean-Michel (one of his sons) who is at the helm of this beautiful family estate of 7.6 ha (including 3.85 ha in 1er Crus and 4 ha in Chablis). Here, the wines are vinified then bottled at the domain in the purest tradition and in the perfect respect of the soils and the natural processes. To taste here Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre, Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, as well as Chablis Vieilles Vignes, Petit Chablis and Chablis.

Alain Gillon, a farmer from the Châtillonnais region, started out in viticulture in 1995 with his brother Patrick. Julien and Romain, their respective sons, took over the reins of the family domaine, investing heavily. The estate is set in a superb location, in the heart of the village and on the banks of the Seine, and comprises just over 9 hectares of vines. Always on the lookout for something new, the owners are currently vinifying a Crémant blanc de noir and an oak-aged white wine, both of which will be available in 2025.

To say that the Roy family is rooted in the Chablis region is an understatement! In 1810, Pierre Roy was a winegrower there. One hundred years later, his descendant Fernand created the estate. Since then, generations have succeeded one another on this 20 ha estate located on the right bank of the Serein. The 4 appellations are present: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru "Le Fourchaume" and "Le Vaulorent", and the Grand Cru "Les Bougros" and "Les Preuses". The whole is produced in reasoned culture. Run to discover them! In addition to the cellar, a beautiful store awaits you.

The grand hotel La Cloche MGallery opens the doors of its boutique entirely dedicated to wine, with Charles-Antoine Musitelli as master on board. 20 by La Cloche offers its visitors a selection of great wines, often from Burgundy. You will be able to exchange ideas in front of the wall of the region's wines, enjoy a cosy "entre-soi" for wine lovers or meet winegrowers. A subtle mix between a boutique, a cellar and a tasting room, 20 by La Cloche is the place to be for wine lovers.

Domaine Houblin-Vernin has been established here in Migé for over 40 years, and is now run entirely by Valentin Vernin. Long committed to protecting the environment, he cultivates the 20 hectares with the utmost respect for nature. As proof of this, the estate has obtained Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) level 3 certification, the highest level of environmental certification for farms. The result is a superb production of Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse Red, White and Rosé, Crémant and Ratafia.

The Cave des Vignerons d'Igé brings together 25 vineyards covering 190 hectares, producing a variety of appellations. Wine-tourism outings are available for free exploration of the surrounding vineyards and villages. Stop by the boutique, where you can taste and sell our wines: Mâcon IGE Blanc, Mâcon Village, Saint-Véran, and Crémants de Bourgogne. A new feature is an online boutique offering a full range of wines, including Macon rosé du terroir des brigands. Established in the Chablis region for three generations, Domaine de Chantemerle was founded by Adhémar and Marguerite Boudin, then taken over by their son Francis, before their granddaughters Angélique and Virginie took over. The 20.5 ha on which it extends are divided into 4 crus: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis^1er cru Fourchaume, and Chablis^1er cru Homme Mort. The harvests are vinified on the spot, and matured 9 months in enamelled vats. The whole offering a very nice production which has long since proven itself!

Domaine Pierre Bourée Fils, owner of 6 ha of vines and wine merchant for up to 12 ha, offers a catalog of 80 appellations. A unique offering for a family estate. It owes its success to its attachment to tradition, and to the expertise it applies in a new 400 m² winery. Domaine Pierre Bourée Fils also runs its own restaurant, La Table de Pierre Bourée, a place where you can discover some of the estate's vintages between a very affordable menu and wines at estate prices!

Established since forty in Préhy, near Chablis, the Domaine de Noëlle is a family exploitation which proposes a rich and varied range of wines, all under AOC label. On the white side, Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Vieilles Vignes, Chablis matured in oak barrels, and Chablis Haute Tradition are there. But you can also discover excellent red wines of Burgundy, and even a (rarer) rosé wine. All this in a quality-price ratio quite unmatched! Run to discover them. Since 1990, on 9 hectares of vineyards, the Bardet family (now represented by Damien and his cousin Alexandre) has specialized in Chablis, Petit Chablis, Irancy and Burgundy, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as well as Crémant Blanc de Blanc. No fewer than 7 appellations in all. Among the house's successes, the Chablis Cuvée 2020 won the Gold Medal at the Concours des Vins de Chablis 2022. Please note that tastings are available by appointment. So don't hesitate. Especially as the welcome is always warm and friendly.

La Cave du Caboulot is a nod to the Chagny restaurant Le Caboulot, run by Lauriane Lava's parents. The young woman worked there for many years, developing a passion for wine alongside her training in Beaune. It was therefore only logical that she should open her own cellar in the spring of 2022. She offers a selection of local and French wines, as well as spirits, beers, fruit juices and artisanal lemonades. The premises also feature a wine bar area, where Lauriane regularly organizes themed evenings.

Champy, founded in 1720, is the oldest of Beaune's great houses. Visit by appointment on rue du Grenier à Sel. Without an appointment, at Place de la Halle, you'll find a convivial boutique with a view of the Hôtel Dieu and a team of experts on Climats. Upstairs, a lounge area ideal for tasting Premiers and Grands Crus from the Côte de Beaune and Nuits. 500,000 bottles a year are produced from a third of the estate's 25 ha of vines, 30% of which are organic. Dimitri Bazas, technical director and oenologist, guarantees rigorous vinification.

For 4 generations, this family domain of 21 ha cultivates its vines in the greatest respect of the earth. To discover in its cellar, excellent wines in Bourgogne aligoté, Saint-Bris, Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre (in white and in red) and crémant. Proof of their great quality, in 2021 the Mâcon wine competition awarded a gold medal to the red Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre "Les Boisseaux" 2018 and the white Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre "Terre blanche" 2018. Created by the winegrowers' union and chaired by Yvan Dufouleur, the Maison des Vignerons is a superb showcase for the 40 member winegrowers from Nuits-Saint-Georges and Premeaux-Prissey. Its vocation is to bring together a large number of references in one place. Mostly reds, but also whites, rosés and crémants are available. And if you don't know what to choose, a friendly sales assistant will listen to your preferences and advise you.

In Epineuil, 20 kilometers from Chablis, the Domaine des Quatre Saisons is a family business where each generation has come to write a chapter in its great and beautiful history. It offers excellent red and rosé wines from the Tonnerrois region, made from the Pinot Noir grape variety, as well as white wines from the Chardonnay grape variety. It takes the appellations Petit-Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru Vaucoupin and Bourgogne Tonnerre. To note also an excellent crémant de Bourgogne. Just a stone's throw from the famous Château de Cormatin, the Caveau du Figuier is the perfect place to stop. With over 25 years' experience, Évelyne offers a wide range of wines, beers and spirits. Local beverages (Crémant de Bourgogne, wines from Côte Chalonnaise, Mâconnais, Beaujolais, etc.), as well as wines from all over France and the world, are on sale. Tastings are available on request. Situated on the heights of Mount Roland in Düsseldorf, this brewery claims to be the "heir" of Walter Gysin who registered the brand in 1900. Maria and Fabrice Pannaux prepare excellent beverages from their experiences in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany. Their beers are made according to the "German laws of purity" (water, malt, hops, yeast). 8 variants: blonde, white, amber and red, brown, india pale ale with funny names. A terrace with a small restaurant will allow you to have a pleasant break.

Owner-harvesters from father to son, the Jollys work in the tradition of Burgundy vineyards. Denis Jolly and his wife cultivate 17.5 hectares and produce 3 appellations (Chablis^1er cru Fourchaume, Chablis and Petit Chablis) using sustainable agriculture. Several awards have been given to their production. Like a silver medal at the Concours Général Agricole and a burgondia gold medal for the Petit Chablis. To note their beautiful independent lodging giving on the wine exploitation. In short, here is a beautiful stage near Chablis.

Near Vézelay, run to visit the Domaine de Bel-Air managed by Romain Desbrosses who offers here his organic Tannay slopes, IGP. 9 ha in total, to which have been added 6 ha of Château Baron in Brinon-sur-Beuvron. Romain works his wines in an artisanal and subtle way, with a great respect for the environment, using only natural organic fertilizers for a better evolution of the soils and the vines. His Tannay slopes are marvelous. His Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Melon de Bourgogne too. Make an appointment because Romain is often in his vineyards!

With its 400 member-cooperators, Cave de Lugny shines the spotlight on these master craftsmen, proud of their land, who care for and nurture their vines all year round. The Cave Coopérative produces and markets wines, continuing the expertise of several generations of winegrowers. The Lugny winery raises and vinifies white wines in particular, bringing their uniqueness and international renown. A dedicated sales and tasting area showcases the floral, honey and citrus characteristics of these Mâconnais cuvées.

Henri and Madeleine Laroche were at the origin of this beautiful estate. Since then, generations have succeeded one another and the Laroche family now cultivates 22 hectares of vines: 5 ha in the^1er cru Fourchaume, 1.30 ha in^1er cru Beauroy, 11 ha in Chablis and 4.50 ha in Petit Chablis. We particularly like the Chablis Saint-Pierre, named after the ^12th century church in Chablis, the Chablis^1er cru Troësmes, not to mention the Fourchaume, the Fourchaume "L'Homme mort" and the Fourchaume "Héritage". An excellent production recognized and distributed all over the world!
