We are Philippe Butin guests for many years: the challenge that it takes up permanently, it is to produce fine wines and, from this point of view, we believe that it belongs to an elite!
One often speak Philippe Butin for its Château-Chalon: it is true that its yellow wines, at the end 6 years and 3 months aged in oak, are characterised by a large delicacy, rare elegance...
But we drink more regularly crémant sound: it is our favourite aperitif! Let us stress that, while being very affordable price, it is remarkable, clearly, very little typical, with fine bubbles give it an air.
For a few years, Philippe Butin has made to the choice for its red, to produce pure grape varieties, Pinot, Poulsard and Trousseau. Here too, we can only recommend to make a detour for its Trousseau, especially: the year 2009, light and fine, is fruity, with an evocation of pepper and red and black fruit flavours. a pure wonder!
