By arriving on Lavigny, we cannot fail to note the chapel Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, a small white building hung on the hill, whose construction was completed in 1862. In the village you can quickly see the roofs of the two castles built around 1640. One of them, along with two turrets in 1872, is now home to a cottage relay on the Grand Eight circuit. Often remodelled church, maisons houses, fountains, an oratory complements the heritage of the commune with authentic charm. In the hamlet of Rosnay, on the plateau, it is reported that the place "Champ Ravaillard", would have served as a two Ravaillac refuge, banned from France after the murder of Henri IV by their brother.
