Since 2012, chef Robert Mora, who also worked at Celler de Can Roca, has been in charge of the kitchen, sourcing his ingredients from the weekly market in Banyoles. Menus vary according to the season, and dishes can be accompanied by suggestions from sommelier Anna Mercadé. It is run by chef Xavi Lores, who strives to combine the history and culinary tradition of Tossa with modern touches. The place is welcoming and you will be able to test its know-how and attention to detail through a tasting menu or an extensive menu that will perhaps make you discover scampi with a truffle and cava sauce, prawns served with chickpeas or even scampi suquet.

Total makeover and restoration to highlight the wooden and granite structure of this farmhouse which was in turn a bar, restaurant and nightclub. Today, one comes to Rita Porta to taste a very good menu which mixes "mar i munt" and to admire the interior spaces and in particular the vast room of the^1st floor. This is because each of the partners behind this project, launched at the end of 2023, brings his or her own touch to the table: the tropical inspirations of Colombian chef Diego Mondragón and manager Mariella Rodriguez (Costa Rica) subtly blend with the traditional Mediterranean cuisine of Barcelona chef German Espinosa. A veggie hangout in Poblenou, Sopa is one of the favorite canteens of the hordes of creators, makers and producers who work in the neighborhood! In a Nordic-inspired space, with large bay windows and wooden tables, we come to taste good soups and other healthy and vegetarian dishes of the day. The philosophy of the place? Seasonal, local and ecological products, because "we are what we eat". You can even take a yoga class on site! There is also a store for veggie shopping.

As it is not on the waterfront, but in a street parallel to it, it is mainly reached by word of mouth. Positive and rather justified. Behind the brown door with the boat's sign, there are two large interior spaces, including a pretty garden with many plants. On the kitchen side, it favours fresh produce and proximity. The carpaccios are very good and the paellas look good. One can finish with a turrón ice cream, sprinkled with ratafia liqueur. Remember to book, because the address has its regular followers.

Jordi and Gemma launched their self-sufficiency and ecological restoration project in 2007. In addition to the restaurant, the place hosts a school offering courses and workshops (ecological agriculture, natural cosmetics, medicinal plants, food...).
