Founded in 1925, Maison Jégat perpetuates its know-how by practicing traditional farming methods, giving priority to oysters born at sea. Since 2012, Jégat oysters have won five gold and silver medals at the Salon de l'Agriculture, a sign that quality takes precedence and high standards pay off. In 2017, a terrace on stilts emerged from the water, facing west for sumptuous sunsets. It welcomes you from May to September for a tasting of flat and hollow oysters, but also langoustines or stuffed clams, all washed down with a glass of white wine.

In 1990, Patrick and Anne Chauchard opened their first store in Arzon, then in 2009 in the town of Sarzeau. The fresh salmon arrives from Scotland in Label Rouge quality, smoked with green beech wood and salted with Guérande salt, it is sliced by hand, vacuum-packed in whole fillets, slices, steaks or blocks. We have added canned fish, sardines in oil, gulf cod, albacore tuna and smoked fish rillettes. In 2009, the Chauchard couple opened their second artisanal smoking store in Sarzeau. They offer a wide range of salmon, exclusively from Label Rouge quality farms in Scotland. Smoked in their own laboratories, they are available in several recipes: marinated half-smoked steaks or pavé, half-fillet sliced on the skin or hot-smoked... Also on sale are preserves, delicatessen, smoked or marinated mackerel and tuna, tarama with bottarga, wazabi, etc.

The two passionate oyster farmers produce here oysters, both hollow and flat, of an exceptional quality, full of the tonic freshness of the sea, whose virtues are concentrated in them! Situated below the cherry and apple orchards, the oysters also gorge themselves on the aromas of apple cider as they develop ... And, most importantly, a few tables are set up next to the fish ponds so that you can taste these delicious shellfish and seafood on the spot... At Jeannettes Canneries, it is quality that counts. Fresh fish (sardines and tunas), worked by hand, an artisanal method, recipes unchanged since 1925, this is how Jeannettes keep their reputation. Maison Quintin, oyster farmers since 1961, has been established on the banks of the Crach river for three generations and has won several medals for the quality of its products. Today, Jean-François offers flat and hollow oysters, lobster, crayfish, crab and spider crab. The house also offers a delivery service, a store and gîtes. Founded in 1953 by Henri Mahéo in the heart of Paimpol Bay, the Paimpolaise du Large still produces the oysters that have made her famous: hollow oysters, reared according to ancient methods, and flat oysters, a rarer species, reared on the ground in small quantities. In order to adapt to the growing demand, it also markets Bréhat mussels, farmed in the open sea for a minimum of one year, as well as abalone, scallops, Breton lobsters and clams, fished on the Breton coast.
